No, I would never have an abortion. I consider it murder and a lot of others do too. It is a child from conception and I believe all organs are complete but not mature by 10 or 11 weeks. The nervous system is fully complete by 9 or 10 weeks maybe a week sooner, I cannot remember! The nervous system is more sensitive in a fetus because everything is just starting to flare up.
I have also read and seen plenty on abortion and what I have seen is horrible.
There is no excuse for abortion I had a baby at age 17 from rape and I still have him, he reminds me nothing of his father and I am so glad that he is here.
It's murder and there should be no other word for it.
It comes down to this:
My Body
My Sexuality
My Uterus
My Vagina
My Morals
My Life
My Choice
Not Yours
I read this and well to be honest it is a load of crap (sorry but it is the truth).
Yes it may be your body but once you get pregnant there is a whole other individual inside of you and at this point it isn't just your body anymore. You are sharing it with a defenseless human being who just needs nourishment and time to grow. You don't or I mean shouldn't have the right to take that life away.
I CUT AND PASTED IT FOR A REASON, I WASN'T USING THEM FOR MY OWN WORDS.

There is only one reason I would have an abortion and it would be if I were raped and even then it would be the hardest decision ever. Cause I do not believe in abortions. I think that if a women has one she should have to prove it was rape or incest with police or hospital reports.. or they know for sure that medically the mother or child will not make it through the pregnancy. Then again I would take that chance. So I just do not think that people realize how brutal an abortion is and what the consequences are after you have one. There are to many young girls and adults using a abortion as birth control this day and age. If they would just take the time to know their bodies and learn more about sex before they jump into bed with someone.. we would not have such a high rate of un-wanted pregnancies today. All it takes is time to learn and educate yourself..which pays off in the end.

I don't believe I could ever have an abortion, unless the pregnancy threatens my life or if the baby has a severe defect (anencephaly for instance) and would not make it through or would die shortly after birth.
I am for abortions, but not to be used as a birth control method. I could never abort a baby just because I got pregnant by accident. I would find a way to take care of that child.

NO! NEVER! It's murder. I think is wrong to kill a child for any reason.
TRUE STORY:
A friend of mine was supposed to be aborted. The procedure was unsuccessful and she only has one leg and is missing fingers from both of her hands. Her mother was so upset that she put her up for adoption. She was adopted when she was a few moths old to a wonderful family who loves her unconditionally.
Maybe hearing that will change some people's mind about abortion being OK.

No, being male I cannot have one, but I would not support a girlfriend or spouse that wants to have one.
I believe that it is murder, that it is life from the moment of conception.
That being said I also would not want to restrict abortion other than partial birth.
I think abortion should be kept safe and legal... but I also do not believe that the mother alone should make the decision to have an abortion.
It took two people to make that baby, it should be a joint decision to abort. If the mother decides to keep the baby against the fathers wishes he will be forced to pay child support, so the sword should cut the other way as well. If the mother does not want the baby and he does... give the child to the father and let him raise it.

I would NEVER have an abortion. I don't believe in killing people. Even if I did, there are too many things that could go wrong. Did you know that if you have an abortion, you are not guaranteed to have more children! That alone is enough to cause me to not do it. Of course I am married and would welcome a pregnancy, and I didn't 'give myself up' until my wedding night so I wouldn't have been in a situation that needed to even consider that. There are other options. Adoption is a great thing to look into.

Sure. Until viability, the cells are a parasite, a zygote. This country is run by a bunch of christian fundamentalists who are trying to foist their beliefs on anyone, and every one. Abortion is legal, and except for the christian Taliban in this country, every other civilized country has no problem with it. Every woman should have destiny of her own body. Things might be much different if it were men who were pregnant, wouldn't it???
Every child should be wanted, planned for, and protected, and provided for. If that isn't going to happen, it is unfair to any child born in a less positive environment. There are now 6.5 billion of us on this planet.... more than enough. And the bible is no more important that any other book of writings by any bunch of illiterate starving shepherds of the stone age. Anyone who quotes the bible as a source saying abortion is wrong, doesn't even know what it says, actually. There are no quotes regarding abortion. And abortion isn't murder, since the cells are not yet a child....

I'm not sure why you are asking, but I have no problem answering. I personally would never have one. It is killing, it is life, no matter how early in the pregnancy it is. You can look up this subject online and get more information. There are too many people in this world that want a child more than anything and unfortunately they are barren and they are able to adopt. Also, take a survey, I don't know of one woman out there who has had one and doesn't still think about it today. It leaves horrible scars on a woman's heart and mind.

NO. I am tottally against it, I think it is wrong. It is killing a person, at just 8 weeks (i think) the heart beats, that means its alive!! I dont see how women can do it. I know some women think its a form of birth control, they are young and get pregnant and think they can have an abortion and it will be alright. I know other people arent going to agree with me but this is my opinion!! If you dont want a baby dont have sex or use plenty of protection, condoms and birth control and anything else you can think of.

I could never do this.. nowadays we need to be aware of the risk of getting pregnant at any time even when using contraception. even when u r poor u get help from the government, so why kill that little innocent thing?
I must add that I personally would consider abortion if I knew that my baby is disabled/ handicapped
