Pregnancy - March 2007

My first labor was just under 3 and half hours from beginning to end. I am now 21 wks pregnant with my second and I am worried about not making it to the hospital. What are my chances this labor will go much faster. Also my water broke in the beginning the first time around.

Im 16 weeks pregnant and my temper is really bad. Should someone look at me the wrong way I could cry. The slightest things makes me want to cry or get really angry. Also I cant stop snapping at my boyfriend and the poor fella does nothing wrong. And Im constantly tired due to not sleeping which i am bad at even before i got pregnant Please any tips welcome

okay, let me start out by saying i am almost 17 years old, and my girlfriend is 16. On saturday at around 1 P.M. we had sex and i accidently went inside of her. She is on birth control and has been for a few months now. She said she was at the end of her cycle..(which i think means the last few pills of the month) but i am not sure. She forgot to take her pill the day that it happened, which was saturday. I know i made a mistake, so i dont need people to tell me to wear a condom, and etc. because i know that i should have but i made a mistake, so please help me with some advice. I was considering taking her to the health clinic for women under 18 to maybe take the morning after pill, but i think it might just be too late and i am not sure.
i really need help with.
1. is there a good chance of her becoming pregnant?
2. Should i take her to the health clinic?
3. Will the morning after pill have any effect after 3 days?
any other information will be greatly appreciated!

Okay, so my family thinks I'm going to have two boys. I had my first son, after everyone thought I was going to have a girl. I had no morning sickness, fatigue, nausea, or any other formiddable symptoms. With this pregnancy, I have been doubled over with nausea at all times of day, and I am tired all the time. I feel like it's a girl, but everyone thinks it's a boy... Any opinons greatly appreciated, or life experiences.

This is the first grandchild on either side, and our parents are driving me nuts! Apparently my mom decided 8 months ago that she was going to be at the birth - too bad she never asked me! I told her this weekend when she came to visit that we don't want anyone at the hospital until after the baby is born. My dad called this morning to say that she has been crying ever since. I'm sure this conversation is going to go about the same way with my in-laws. I feel HORRIBLE, but I am so tired of being guilted into doing things the way everyone else wants. Our wedding went the same way - we wanted to elope, they wanted to be there - guess who got what they wanted?

Has anyone else's parents gone completely nuts like this? How do you deal with it? I'm about ready to just turn off all my phones and not talk to anyone for the next 6 weeks unil after the baby is here....

I am 15 weeks and I think I can feel the baby move inside me but I am not sure since this is my first. It usually is at night and sometimes it wakes me up. Sometimes It feels like a little bubble and sometimes it feels like being flicked from the inside. I dont know if its my digestive tract or actually the baby. Is it tooo soon?

First day of last menstrual period = day one of pregnancy (even though you haven't even conceived yet!)

Around 2 weeks after the first day of your last menstrual period = conception (already 2 weeks pregnant!)

Around 4 weeks after the first day of your last menstrual period = period is due - you notice that you missed it and discover you're pregnant - already 4 weeks along!

And so on and so forth. It's confusing, but the weeks of pregnancy do not start at conception or implantation. They start at the first day of your last normal menstrual period
Saying this did I get pregnant July or August?

since ive became pregnant ive noticed my eyelashes not as full as they use to be & falling out more... like im losing them little by little... this happen to anyone else? its kinda wierd cause i havent heard of "hair loss" during pregnancy....

Usally I have a normal one!
But this month I had only a few "brown" spots just the time when I excepted about 3 days!
I had sex this month, but I did a test and it was negative,I am not pregnant!
But, can I be sure of that???

I am currently 23 weeks pregnant with my second child. Has anyone else been experiencing weird "what if" thoughts about something being wrong with your baby? i don't remember feeling them with my first, for some reason i just knew everything would be fine but i think i feel like i won't be as lucky this time or something. I know it is somewhat irrational but last night i dreamt of a tiny little baby boy with an eye in the middle of his forehead, before that i have dreamt of missing limbs, large heads, a deformed nose, etc. and physical deformities are actually the least of my worries! what if the baby is sick or comes really prematurely? all the what if's are driving me crazy!! anyone else? what can i do to not stress myself out? i wanted to have three children but now i am not sure i can even make it through number two!

im 7 mos preg and was told my hemogloblin was low... could this be the baby taking up all my iron? because i take very good care of myself, take prenatals daily, eat healthy.
also i always experience nosebleeds...

This is a pretty confusing issue for a lot of pregnant women. The fact is when you're in your 5th week of pregnancy, you are 4 weeks pregnant! During the week you start your period, you are in your first week of pregnancy, but you have not yet completed any weeks so you are zero weeks pregnant.

I am currently going into my 13th week of pregnancy, I have had severe morning sickness with nausea. I just turned 20weeks pregnant and last month they made my apt. for my ultrasound in 10 days from now, which means i will be over 21weeks.. everyone else i know has had theirs before or at 20weeks. My fiancee is also off work the rest of this week and goes back next monday so it would be easier for him to attend this week, do you think its ok if i call and try to change it to this week? ive never been threw one before and i dont want to cal and bug people but i would really like to have it changed?
