I have a set of twins I too was bigger with the twins than I was with my first child. The only true what to tell if you are having twins is a ultrasound. I can tell you that I felt movement sooner with the twins than I did with my first I can also tell you that in the first ultrasound that I had done with the twins they couldn't see the second boy he was hiding behind his brother. I didn't find out that we where having twins until i was 5 1/2 months along. I hope this helps and good luck

If you're in the UK you've only got 3 more weeks until your 12 week dating scan when you can find out for sure
Your uterus has done this 3 times before so doesn't have the same level of elasticity so you tend to get bigger with each pregnancy
Good luck with the pregnancy and the new baby(ies)

Ultrasound or possibly they'd hear two heartbeats on the doppler. Its possible you're just bigger because its your 3rd child. I was pregnant with twins last go round and didn't even start showing till almost 20 weeks. This time, I was showing right away. Best of luck.

you need to have an ultrasound. I'm in the same boat as you. I am also 9 weeks along and have a huge belly. It's probably because I already had two children and everything gets streched out. good luck

Well if they pick up two heartbeats with the doppler that is one way to tell, but sometimes it is missed. The other way would be through an untrasound done around 18-22 weeks of pregnancy. Sometimes u/s are done earlier depending on the doctor so you could possibly find out then too.
Good luck, you might just be carrying big though.

I would have an ultra-sound done. The other thing could be that because you've had 3 kids already and your body is use to it don't it doesn't take as long to show as the others did... Just a thought! Good Luck!!!

If you havent been for a scan then you might be further along than you thought. Or you could have a lot of fluid with this one!
Or it could be triplets!!! You will find out when you go for your 12 week scan.
Good luck xx

Twins often cause increased pregnancy symptoms such as vomitting due to extra hormone levels in the body.
Being big early with a 3rd pregnancy is pretty common.

You'll know once you have the scan done. You've a higher probability of twins if twins run in the family though

i heard that people carry bigger with each pregnancy, because the womb is already used to stretching... a scan is the only way of knowing.
