Okay, so my family thinks I'm going to have two boys. I had my first son, after everyone thought I was going to have a girl. I had no morning sickness, fatigue, nausea, or any other formiddable symptoms. With this pregnancy, I have been doubled over with nausea at all times of day, and I am tired all the time. I feel like it's a girl, but everyone thinks it's a boy... Any opinons greatly appreciated, or life experiences.

Hey Kris, does that mean palm down or up for the wrist... I consider my wrist both sides so I am perplexed as to which side you mean. I am, however, going to try it. It sounds interesting, to say the least.

Each pregnancy can be different, regardless of the gender of the baby. I know women that say that their pregnancies w/ boys were distinctly different than their pregnancies w/ girls. It's really hard to say. My pregnancy w/ my son was very different than my pregnancy w/ my daughter, but I've only had those 2 full term pregnancies so I don't have a lot of comparison. I was a lot sicker w/ my daughter than w/ my son though.

If your intuition tells you you're having a girl, that's as good a reason as any to believe it.

If you know when you ovulated and when you had intercourse in relation to that day, you might be able to make a reasonable guess at gender. Having intercourse on the day of or the day before or after ovulation is said to be more likely to result in a boy. Having intercourse no closer than 2 days before ovulation is more likely to result in a girl.

Have you ever heard of the pencil test. You need a needle, thread and a pencil(and someone with a steady hand to hold these things). Theread the needle, and then stick the needle into the eraser. Hold the thread to where the pencil is dangling. Now have your partner hold the thread to where the pencil is dangling. Lay your right arm on a flat surface, and turn it over to where the back of your wrist is showing. Your partner should then hold the threaded pencil over your wrist. Stop it from moving and then let go of the pencil but continue to hold on to the thread. It should show that you have already had a boy by going in a straight line. It should then stop and show you what you are pregnant with now. If it is a boy it will go in a straight line, if it is a girl it will go in circle. It will also show if you are going to have any other children. This is a trick that my family has done for years. My grandmother had 12 kids and it shows each one of them, even the 2 that where miscarriages. Try it and see what it says! Good Luck!

I really dont know. I was pretty sick and nauseous for 4 straight months with my first pregnancy and I had a daughter. This time around I feel even worse and they claim (My family) its because it is a boy. I do not believe all those old wives take though. Its not that black and white.

I wouldn't judge what you are having based off of morning sickness. I was horribly sick in the first trimester and I am having a boy. My sister wasn't sick at all and she had a boy.
Hopefully you will find out when you have your ultrasound

You're having twins. One a genetic male the other a genetic female.

The male however, has a number of neurological similarities to his sister, and will grow up identifying as female. Fortunately for "him" there are a number of surgeries and medical procedures that will let "him" lead a largely female life.

The good news is, you'll save a TON on clothing, as they'll tend to wear the same outfits.
