I know that this sounds stupid, but I was stupid and had unprotected sex but he pulled out. I know that failure rates are somewhere around 6%... but should I be in big danger of being pregnant?

Has anyone had a sore, dry throat during pregnancy? I am in the early stages and have had a sore dry nose for 3 weeks and a sore throat for a few days. Is this pregnancy related? If so, how long does it last?

My OB said I was 7 weeks pregnant on the 13th. I went for my sonogram on the 19th and she said I was 6 weeks and 1 day pregnant. I got to hear the heart beat and my baby is a little cute blob  but Which is more accurate? How accurate? The reason im concerned is because 4 weeks ago ((the 19th of feb)) I had a fling and well…me and my boyfriend have been togther for 6 years we decided it wasnt going to be a monogamous realtionship for the time being since we are the only ones each other have ever been with...and the first time i ever...well...go figure...but I just need to be beyond positive without a doubt there is no way I could be 4 weeks…my sister said when they are off your normally farther along then not….i wouldn’t of been able to hear the heart or see the baby if I were only 4…right?!? Pllleassssee any help you can offer! Im going crazy!!

this question is not for me, is for a friend of mine. She has the marina shot (I believe that's how you spell it) well i guess its the depo, and she is curious to know if it is possible to become pregnant even though she got the shot...also is minor abdominal pain a sign of prenancy??? we heard that it may be the uterus or something stretching...i dont know but she has been experiencing some abdominal pain but she is unsure if she's pregnant or not being that she has the shot!!!

Note: please just straight answers, we dont want any critizism.

7 weeks, this week and hey...is anyone just plain worried about their pregnancy? I know i am. I know i have to just relax and be calm, but a miscarriage in the past has me unable to just enjoy myself and prepare, because it makes me expect the worst, you know? Well, share your thoughts with me. I've told my family that i'm prego and they've shared it with the entire family from coast to coast already...i wish i could be as enthusiastic as they all are. I am just about 3 months pregnant and have been cursed with this super human scence of smell. I mean i smell everything. I live above a restaraunt and thankfully i am over the nausea puking phase. But this one smell i cant kick. I ALWAYS SMELL GARLIC! I though maybe it was my kitchen? So i cleaned out my fridge and freezer with baking soda and got rid of anything that had any hint of garlic or onions. I got on my hands and knees and scrubbed my floor and jsut went all out and cleaned my whole apartment! But it wont go away. And now when i got to work i can smell it too! I think if anyone eats ne thing italian i can pick it up asap! Im like a damn dog! and even worse i work at a dental office! poor me! people hate brushing there teeth for some reason. i already tryed the febreeze plug ins in every room but i just dont know what to do b/c I can still smell it.... is there antyhing out there that gets rid of garlic scents?

I am pregnant with number two. I have opted for a midwife. I am always so worried what she thinks of me! I get annoyed with myself. I am so used to doctors that don't communicate more then 15 minutes a month with you. I am worried I am bugging her too much or asking stupid questions. Or that she thinks I'm a bad mom or shouldn't be a mom (I am single now and he is long gone)... This is such new territory for me. What's wrong with me! She is doing her job, and not making me feel bad about anything. She is great. Why do I feel this way? Is it normal to feel this way in a new situation?

Also, while I'm on the subject, I've had a VERY difficult time finding a comfortable and supportive bra during my prenancy. They are either digging into my rib cage, riding up my back, causing my breasts to itch, or something! Any advice?

Hello ladies. I am doing my own personal baby sex predictor survey, and I need your help. I am pregnant again with baby number 2 and i dont think i can wait 3 more months to determine what i am having. I know there is no real way to know for sure until i have the ultrasound, and i also know every pregnancy is differant, but just go with me on this. I have tried the chinese baby calender with my last and it told me i was having a girl, I had a boy. So that is out. I tried the stupid drano test and that did nothing but make a huge stink bomb!! But i think i may have found another way. When I was pregnant with my first I had BAD acne all over my body. And like i said I had a boy. A friend of mine had bad acne all over her face and she had a girl. So What I would like to know is, Where are your hormone changes causing acne on you? and Do you know if you are having a boy or a girl? Let me know! Thanks

I am 13 1/2 weeks pregnant, and nothing I do will stop me from being gaggy ALL DAY! I haven't been thowing up, but I get all the motion of it, but then my body stops me from finishing. I have tried every trick around (eat before moving, keep something in your stomach, don't each large amounts, don't each food with to much flavor, vitamin b6 supplements...) Even before I get going in the morning I feel it, all the way till I go to bed. I am so tired of it, and even my doctor doesn't have any insight. They keep telling me it should even out soon. HELP!

HI...I used plan B 48 hours after unprotected sex...If I became pregnant, I would've conceived on or about the 13th of march. Today is the 21st...the last few days I have been very tired, nauseated, and my appetite is out of control. Could I still be pregnant even though I took an emergency contraceptive? And wouldn't it be too early to have any symptoms of pregnancy anyways?

I might be pregnant, I have had tender breasts, not extremely soar but a bit tender for the past week, My period was suppose to be here march 14th, and I have had some cramps here and their...I am waiting to take a test for another week or two just so i'm sure i will get an accurate result..Anyways last night when me and my husband were having intercourse, he got a little rough maybe once or twice. Well after intercourse I started getting this wierd pain/cramp i my lower abdominal area for maybe an hour and mostly on my left side but would cramp through out my whole lower stomache and it started hurting my rectum area like i would get little pains their...The pains were not severe nor too painful...Has any pregnant woman experienced this in early pregnancy??If so is it common..

I have been seeing my GYN for a few years but she no longer does deliveries. My daughter was born c-section because of failure to dilate. I knew that there are plenty of women that have had v-bac's and I wanted to try it, so I am seeing a Midwife. I spoke to my GYN today and she told me that the chances of me having my son naturtally (34 weeks pregnant), is 30%. I asked her why she thought that and she stated I was too narrow and she thought I would not be able to fit a baby through my birth canal, that I would have to have another C-section. I was taken aback by this and I was wondering if anyone has gone through the same thing or something similar. She has truly burst my bubble!.

I'm waiting for my husband to finish his schooling before we try for a baby, because I want to be able to give the baby all my attention and not have to go back to work right away. It's getting really hard to wait....its suddenly all I can think about and I'm always looking at baby sites and imagining what it's going to be like. I know that I'm probably trying to jump the gun a little, but I can't help it. When did you know that you were ready to be a mommy? Just curious :-)
