i'm now 4 months pregnant and throughout my whole pregnancy i've been worried about miscarriages, and just little things but lately i've been watching alot of baby stories and births on t.v and i'm so scared to have this baby i watch all these women go through so much pain and even with the epidural and i'm just worried that when the time comes i will freeze up and wont be able to have this baby. i'm also scared about having a c-section.. has anyone else felt this way? what made you get over this fear?

I am now just 6-7 weeks pregnant, and the baby's daddy doesn't want to believe that I am pregnant and also says that I should have an abortion because "he can't have a baby right now, he's already at the breaking point". We've been seeing each other off and on for about a year and at this point I don't think our relationship is going anywhere good.

I just don't want to be a single mother. I'm only 21 years old and I don't want to do this by myself. But he's made it clear that he doesn't want this baby and said that "unfortunately, abortion is the best choice". I feel so depressed. I've called in to work about 5 or 6 times since last week because I just don't have the motivation to go anymore.

Can anyone offer me any kind of advice? I'm just a mess right now.

Okay, my period came on in Feb., so I didn't think anyhting. But in this month, I had a lil spotting, but the doctor said that that would happen with the birth control pill I'm on....so like I said, I didn't think anyhting. It still hasn't come on, and it's went past it's usuaul dates. I'm worried that if I am prgnant, will the birth control pill I'm on affect the fetus? And should I even be worried anyway.

Anyone have any ridiculous, irrational fears while pregnant? One day, when I was around 5 months I became very upset that we didn't have any clothes or socks for our baby yet...I'm crying to my husband that our poor little girl will have to be naked all the time and her feet will be cold...nevermind that I had MONTHS yet to go! I laugh about it now...but I was soooo worried at the time.

Anyone else have funny stories?

I had a neg blood test 1 week late i am now three weeks late usually regular neg urine tests also. I was also pregnant 5 years ago and it didnt show up on a urine till 8 weeks but i never took a blood then so dont know what to think! Has this ever happened to anyone else how far were you?

I just found out yesterday that I am pregnant agian. I currently live with my father and my two kids. My father can't afford for all of us to stay at his house and there isn't really room. I live in Michigan and would like to know where I can go to get some kind of assistance with housing...............Please don't send me answers like "stop having kids" or "get a job" Real help is wanted only........I am a full time student and I have a part-time job.

at 6 weeks when they took the blood work, they got level of 18000. the doctor said it is very good to have that high number, anyone else had a high number like that?

I am 6 weeks pregnant and I woke up the other morning not wanting my 10 month old yellow lab that is full of energy. We live in a very small townhome with no backyard. I feel bad for the dog because I cannot give it the training that it needs. My husband on the other hand loves the dog, we have only had her for a couple months now but he loves her. I feel that he is not thinking about the baby's safety, when it arrives. Does he just not understand what it takes to take care of a baby? Why is he so upset at me for not understanding why he wants to make it work? I have pretty much made up my mind about the dog, cat, my huband and I, and a baby living in a small townhouse together. Am I wrong or is it the hormones talking?

Is it common to get some weird pain/cramp in your lower abdominal area after intercourse??
My husband and I were having intercourse last night and things were prefectly fine through, he would get a little rough once in a while but not enough to cause any type of bruising on my cervix or anything, he wasn't really even that rough..Anyways after we finished we were laying their talking for a bit then i got up to go to the bathroom well when i got up i started having these wierd pains/cramps in my lower stomach started off just on my left side then cramps started thorughout my whole lower stomach. It lasted about an hour but when i was getting these cramps i was also getting them in my lower back like the cramps were in my rectal area as well. The pains were not too bad at all but enough to say " ouch".. These were not like period cramps, they were weird feeling..
So has any pregnant woman experienced this after intercourse early in pregnancy?????

I am 8 days late on my period.
I haven't had unprotected sex, but I was sick with the flu a week before I was due.
Is it possible that being sick delayed my period?

I have had cramps similar to the ones I have before I start my cycle but still no period.

I am also positve that any of the condoms did not break or split..

Im 31 weeks pregnant now and my doctor said that I will most likely have her early because I am measuring really big which means that the baby is big and in my Ultra sound they said that she is really big for how along I am. Then My 2 year old was a month early being born at 36 weeks and weighing at 7 lbs 2 ounces. So he was a big boy too. So do you think that I will have this baby early too because of my past pregnancy and because of what my doctor said? I just want advice from ladies who have had this same experience. Thanks Much!!!

Okay, so ive been with my bf for almost 2 months, ever since we first had intercourse we have not been using protection at all but he would pull out everytime and finish outside. So by the time i was suppose to get my period it was late. 2 weeks i took like about 4 test and they all cameout neg. Then this month he accidentally went inisde of me twice so i took the Plan B. I really dont know if the pill worked but i started using birth control pills now for the first time. Is it possible i might be pregnant? Because for almost 2 months straight we have been having sex without any protection and its a miracle that so far everything comes out negative, but if i am pregnant will the birth control or the Plan B pill i took affect the baby?

This month i have noticed a change in my body. Earlier this month i vomited 3 times, i was naseauated, my appetite changed, i couldnt eat or i would get full off of the smallest thing and not have the urge to eat the rest of the day. When i would eat it would feel like the food didnt want to stay down but i didnt throw up. I didnt have the flu or a cold. What are these changes in my body? I had a regular 3-4 day period prior to all of this. I don't have sore breast, or any of the "common" pregnancy symptoms. Could i still be pregnant without the common symptoms but have what i described above. Thanks everyone

Hi ladies i have 2 somewhat simple issues but this is my first pregnancy and have absolutely no idea idea what to do here. My face is breaking out more then during puberty i have tried what i know keeping it clean no makeup, using rubbing alcohol on problem spots, i bought a new cleaner a few weeks ago from nutragena for oil control but to no avail is it helping.
Also one other very common issue for both women in general but during pregnancy is a yeast infection- im confused can you treat them? my books say you shouldnt what am i suppose to suffer? i am going to post another question in ref. to my ob so if i dont have to go see him i dont want to i think im gonna switch

I keep hearing people say that most women feel beautiful when they're pregnant, but I'm just not one of them. I am sooo thrilled about my baby girl, I just want to enjoy this experience. I've always been borderline obsessive about my weight. I'm growing increasingly depressed as my belly gets bigger and the scale climbs. I just want to be happy and have a healthy child. If anyone has any tips about how I can deal with this, I would appreciate it.

I am 18 weeks pregnant with my first baby. I lost 7 lbs and have only gained 2 lbs total so far.

I am wearing maternity pants since my belly feels bloated, but I can't wear maternity shirts yet. Right now it just looks like I have a small pouch that no one really notices.

When did you have to start wearing maternity shirts? I feel fat when I wear my regular shirts so I am covering up with sweaters!

I guess im just being paranoid. My fiance and I have been together for about 7 years and people have ben hounding us about marriage forever, parents mostly, we always wanted to but could never afford it. I became pregnant by accident not too long ago and we decided to get married. We are both very happy about our situation.We scheduled our wedding quickly so that I wouldnt show. Our parents are so happy and both families are invovled with it, they just think we are being spontaneous. We are getting married april 6th and planning to tell our parents Easter April 8th, I just feel that this will be a let down to them, like everyone will think we are getting married because I got pregnant, (which we are) but it is a very joyous occasion. Did I mention everyone is a devout Catholic, I feel like a teenager having to tell my parents I got knocked up and Im 28 years old. Im also three months along and I feel like they will be mad maybe that we didnt tell them sooner. Do you think they suspect?

Feel so sad and worried that this could effect my unborn child. I have two friends that have called me crying in less than two weeks because they have had misscarriages. One friend last week she was 7 weeks..and one friend today lost twins she was 5 weeks..Im 11 weeks and 3 days along now. And im worrying and so sad that my friends are going thru this. they are doing terrible. Im crying and my other friend says you cant worry about them you are going to cry and stress your baby and give you a chance to miscarry. I mean what am I suppose to do I care about my friends. Do I not listen to there pain,and there tears. But thats not me im a true friend. And now I dont know how to react to them since im still pregnant I dont feel that I want to say anything else to them about my pregnancy even tsince this has happened to them. I pray they get thru this. But what am I to should i listen to my one friend and not worry about my other friends and what happen to them as much. What would you do

I am so blessed to be having a healthy girl so far. We found out for sure yesterday. I'm just so floored. I really have always thought I'd have boys. I'm excited but it just feels kind of strange. Don't get me wrong I know a little girl is so precious but I think I'm just in shock. I thought I would at least have a boy first. It's not that I wanted one over the other... just not what I expected.
