Ask questions on abortion in preg. & parenting? That means we care about children and many of us are pregnant and DO NOT want to be thinking about killing babies. Go ask that crap in womens health or something.

I can understand that it would upset a lot of people, especially pregnant women.

However abortion is a pregnancy related issue, you can't deny that! People asking about it would probably gain strength from the answers of pregnant women, rather than someone more impartial. If that means they decided not to have their baby aborted, then ladies you have saved a life. As people have said, most women on pregnancy Answers are pro-life. If a woman considering abortion went somewhere else they may be considerably more pro-choice and that could result in a different outcome. Maybe your sacrifice in 'thinking about killing babies' has a reason, calling your opportunity to help save a life 'crap' is a little harsh.

I would suggest a little more patience, those women are obviously struggling and seeking guidance, we should be glad they come here.

If I had a choice I'd rather get rid of the 'Am I pregnant??' questions that are always around. With those there is just one answer.... go and buy a pregnancy test, and learn about contraception whilst you are there!

Well, youre right it is ignorant, but there is no abortion section and its not about womens health, its about someone being pregnant and not wanting to be which really fits into the preg category.

i have 2 children i had a abortion a few years ago because i felt it was the right thing to do at the time as my partner (ex now) was beating me, he slit my wrists and beat my daughter up till she was black and blue (she was only 1) he threw me down the stairs and hit me over the head 34 times with a bar. this happend in 1 night because i would not have sex with him, i had the abortion because i never wanted a reason for my ex to see me again, i regret it now i really miss that baby and would do anything to change the clock back. sometimes people have been through something like that and they are just looking for support, a site like this would of made me changed my mind, just try and help someone change theirs and save a life. x

I think that 90% of the time they just want to get a rise out of people--- and of course! Who better to get a rise out of then a bunch of pregnant hormonal women!?

The other 10% of the time... maybe they just don't know any better. Who knows.

But it never fails... everyday.... new abortion questions.

Standing ovation! but you know what? sometimes they check off the wrong thing when they are asking the question and they don't even know it, sometimes i post pregnancy questions in the baby naming section or somewhere else, but i definitely agree

Amen. I am sick of people getting so worked up about it on yahoo answers. I have been guilty of this myself. A different category would be more appropriate though.
