I am 8 days late on my period.
I haven't had unprotected sex, but I was sick with the flu a week before I was due.
Is it possible that being sick delayed my period?
I have had cramps similar to the ones I have before I start my cycle but still no period.

Yeah anythings possible really.
If you havent had sex than your not pregnant obviously, but if you just havent had "unprotected sex" than its still a possibility.
But anything can really interupt your cycle, especially other things going on in your body like the flu.

I would definitely go and buy a home pregnancy test. As I am sure you know, using a condom is not 100% effective and neither is the pill! Trust me, I was on the pill when I became pregnant with my first child. Being sick should not delay your period that long and cramping is normal for people who are within the first month or two of pregnancy. I hope this helps, good luck. Is your period usually regular? If not then I wouldn't worry to much. The worry is probably making your period late.
If your period is usually regular I would get a home pregnancy test to check.

a lot of things can delay your period, a change in your sexual intercourse or lots of things. the flu may have caused it, but if you don't get it in a few days take a test.

that is because of the flu that you had before
dont worry . and dont tae or drink cold stuff like jucies i dont mean cold like ice cold but like the cold efect of the juice and it will come soon that is if you are sure about the above mention things that you said .

if you haven't had unprotected sex than I wouldn't really worry about it.
the flu can throw your body off so just wait it out.
if you're worried pick up a pregnancy test.

well if you used a condom it could have broke it also could be stress but take a test
