I started bleeding about 5 days ago, thought I started my period, but I only bled a little that day and nothing else. I'm really nervous. I could use some advice.

yes, I took a test a one week late and it was negative. Then again at 2 weeks and it finally showed up a FAINT positive...a third test a week later showed a BRIGHT POSITIVE!
( also it could be you might have been under stress, or not taking your pill right caused my period to get all off...)

I have just recently found out that is possible to miss a period. I was 21 days late...had a blood test and it was negative as well. My Dr told me that it is fairly common to actuallly miss a period. It showed up on time the next month

Yes and no.

Yes you could possibly pregnant and had a late ovulation and it's too early to get a positive test result.

or

No, you aren't and you are just late for other reasons, including stress or other medical problems.

If you are worried then see a doctor or a midwife.

Hmm, home tests have more false negatives. Could just be that the test isnt detecting the hormones, go to the doctor. that's your best bet :) Good luck

Sometimes it depends on what kind of test you take. The best thing is to get blood work done at a doctor

Pregnancy tests are never 100% accurate.
Neither are birth controls and condoms (effective).
So yes, its a possibility
