Besides the normal answers, contractions, nesting, mucous plug, etc.
What are some personal stories of what it felt like the week or so before you went into labor?

I was getting out of bed and I heard a loud "pop" the next thing I knew, I had a flood of water gushing out. I didn't know what was going on, so I put on my rainboots!!
The second time I had really bad contractions.
Don't worry, it's fun, funny, exciting....
And the thing about nesting... the week before I went into labor I cooked a whole bunch of caseroles and froze them into single portions. I had enough to las me for every meal for over 2 months.

The day I gave birth to my son my husband and I were out having pregnancy pics taken and had no idea what would happen 12 hours later. It was 3 weeks before my due date. I had a little back pain and stomach tightening that night (but had that a lot anyways). I took a bath and went to bed and then my water broke. It was just a little trickle to start so I wasn't even sure I was ready. Thought I was having bladder problems...LOL! My mother-in-law told me that my water broke and to have a towel handy in the car. We stopped by a few people's houses on the way in to the hospital (still nothing major). When I got to the ER they put me in a wheelchair and pushed me up to the desk and OMG...water broke everywhere! They were getting sheets to soak it up! Still took him about 6 hours to come out though. With my mom...her water never broke. Everyone is so different. I don't think you can really know or plan for it. It will just happen and then hopefully you will know =)

I had dull back pain and contractions all day every 10 mins. It was like your stomach would get really tight and hard and then loosen up. Then when it started to get close to every 2 mins then my back was really hurting. It is great being pregnant but at the end and labor sucks. I would suggest to you if you can to get an epidural. That is a needle they stick in between your vertebra and inject numbing medication in your spinal cord so you sill feel less or no pain from the waist down.

nicely, that appears like nesting. It would not recommend you would be in exertions very quickly (some days) besides the shown fact that it does recommend your preparing for the day whilst it does take place. I had no signs and indicators of exertions until eventually it got here approximately. My water broke and then 40 5 minutes contractions started..9 hours later my son grow to be born. I had my son in effortless terms 3 days in the previous my due date too. so which you ought to circulate exceptionally plenty yet another 5 weeks. terrific of success

other than those i didnt feel anything else but tired...then i went to use the restroom at 1 am and out came my mucous plug, then i got to the hospital and they were about to discharge me at 3 am....i stood up out the hospital bed and my water broke....they made me get back in the bed and i had my son at 433pm!!!!

well one was i did not like to have sex while being pg and then that night that i was going into laber i wanted it bad and then i did it and then when we was do i did not fill good and then we went to the hospital and they told me we are going to keep u and u are going to be having this baby soon and that i what happend to me i went on a walk and i did not walk at all the hole time that i was pg and that night we went to the park and then i had my son that next day at10 am

i just had a lot of pressure on my pelvic bone shortly after my water broke

I had really bad diareah (sp?). Ugh it was terrible!
