i'm 39 weeks and only dilated 1 cm if i don't have the baby next week i;m gonna induced.does that mean i will still have to go in labor while i'm in the hospital.

I was so mad when I thought that I was having a baby I was eating regulary and was slepping more offtend.My stomach was getting big and just feeling bad about my self.Would I be mad if I didnt tell my ex that I was have his baby because I was mad at him?I broke up with him because he was cheating on me I Just wanna know would i be wrong not to tell him that he has a baby on the way.What if he say's it isn t his and i know he was the only guy that i was having sex with, what should i do

I told my mother I was planning to get married sooner than expected b/c I did not want a child out of wedlock. My father does not know that I even had sex before, further more find out that I am pregnant under his roof still. Guess what? He is a minister. If I have the child and still live here, he would not be able to be a minister, but would have to step down b/c of me. Any man that cant take care of his household is not suitable to take care of the church. But, I will be moving out, therefore I will be out of the house when baby is born. My mother really does not want me to marry the guy though b/c he does not come to worship only once and he is stubborn in his ways. Neither does she want me to have the baby, b/c my father after all believes I never had sex, further more be pregnant. I really want to have the baby and dont want an abortion. But I dont want to disappoint my father. My mother is already disappointed and father does not know. Please help..What should I do?

my doctor told me only to gain 10-15 lbs, that's fine, i'm cool with that, she wants me to walk a few times per week for about a half an hour and life 3-5 lb weights for my arms, i'm scared about lifting the weights over my head as she suggested in fear of stretching and hurting the baby, what do you think?

Were you able to find out the gender of the baby at that time? I have found that the gender can be detected as early as 16 wks but I found a place that does 3d/4d ultrasounds and they dont recommend detecting the sex until 26 wks. Someone told me if you wait til 26 wks then you are too far along and it is hard to tell. What is the truth?

I've included links to a pictures of an Equate pregnancy test I took this morning. After about 3 minutes there appeared to be a very very faint vertical line. Do you see it? Does this mean that it's positive or does it do that to negative results to?

I'm a bit confused as well because today I noticed some brown spotting at work. It's been at least 14 days since ovulation and I'm on day 32 of my cycle. My period should be here now, but I'm not sure if the brown spotting I saw today is the start of my period. What do you think?

I had my 20 week ultrasound today, I am 20 wks. 5 days
I found out it is a Boy btw...
but my question is, they said the baby weighed 14 ounces.Does this sound about right for the gestational age? When I had my scan at 20 weeks with my daughter, she weighed 9 ounces.Thanks.

Okay, so, I haven't been taking my pill properly. I know this is stupid, and I'm usually very good about it, but life's been very hard this month.
So, I've only had unprotected sex with my boyfriend once and it was literally for like 20seconds before I said we should stop and he didn't ejaculate inside me. This was about two and a half weeks ago.

What are the chances of me being pregnant? And how soon can I find out? My period is a week and a half late, but I keep getting cramps like I'm about to start and my boobs aren't sore or anything.

I'm very panicky, so any advice would be gratefully received!

My husband and I have only had sex a few times since we got pregnant ( i am 28 weeks) I have tried the woman on top positions, but I have a funny question about it. I have a hard time getting "him" inside of me. You know what I mean? Any suggestions on how to make this position happen for us?

Ive heard of women not having any pain with their labor. I am 3 cm dia. and 90% effaced. I have contractions anywhere between 3-5 min apart but I dont feel anything but my stomach tightening. Every once in a while my lower stomach hurts almost like menstrual cramps but go away when the contraction is over. They wont go away when I sit down or stand up and walk, but they never intensify. Could it be possible im already in labor and not realize it or is it false labor im having?

I have been with my boyfriend for five years, and we are engaged now. I am a 19 year old college student, and he's a 20 year old college student getting ready to go to a police academy. I have endometriosis, and I have had unprotected sex for our entire relationship, and I have never been pregnant before. I have an appointment for an abortion next week. Ok I am 38 weeks, utterly MISERABLE, constant painful contractions but STILL only 2cm dilated... I am ready to pull my hair out. Now all of a sudden my appetite is TOTALLY GONE. I can't seem to eat just about anything, and least of all enjoy it. It feels like I am eating paste.

Also, I am so emotional and bitter I feel my husband won't understand it. How to get over this anger over the misery and lack of labor? Any ideas? I am PISSED. But my hub is a decent guy, but can ANY guy understand this horror??

just curious.....I am trying to understand all the negativity and fear behind it....is it fear of the unknown? would you be embarrassed at having a child with DS? would you love your child any less if it did have down syndrome? I see so many questions regarding women who are worried and stressed during their pregnancies about this and I wanted to hear other opinions. I am not asking this question to judge others.

throughout our schooling, especially when it came to sex ed, we were always told to use protection like condoms and such to stop from std spread and teenage pregency

This kinda left an impression that if you have sex without a condom, you will get the girl pregnant (like 100%)


I know it varies on many things like position and all, but what would you guys say the likliness be?

i had unprotected intercourse with my bf quite a few times btwn my last pd which was feb 6 and first week of march. my pd is late 16 days late. i haven't taken a test yet. i wanted to wait. the only symptom i have a late pd and in the mornings my lower back is always killing me. other than that i feel fine. is it too early to test?
