I wish at least one of them worked... but the truth is, that the chance of getting stretch marks is genetics. If your mother had it, you will probably get them, too, no matter what cream you are using. You can reduced it by cocoa butter creams, but unfortunately if your skin is not elastic enough, you will get some. I was putting on the concentrated cocoa butter cream three times daily since the day I found out I was pregnant, and I still got stretch marks on my hips and breasts, just like my mother.

YOU CANNOT REDUCE THEM. Its hereditary. If your mom or grandma had them good chance you will. Some creams claim to minimize but the main reason women don't end up getting them is because they had good genes not because of creams. These creams and oils are nice to keep the skin soft and less itchy but a waste of money overall. Laser treatments after pregnancy is over can help take some away but no cream is going to do anything for them.

I'm 5 months preggo with my first, so I don't really know what works yet. But, my BF brought me a tube of the Palmer's Cocoa Butter Stretch Mark Massage Cream. I was slightly offended... but I'm using it anyway. LOL. I also have pure shea butter that I've been using. I'm hoping it works.

There really isn't anything that will prevent you from getting stretch marks. They are hereditary. Sorry to say!!! You can try to use some cocoa butter, or shea butter. Vitamin E is really good, helps with elasticity. But if you are going to get them, you're going to get them. I tried everything to not get them!! Still, I got them. A lot of people will tell you that the stretch mark cream really works, but it doesn't. It keeps your skin hydrated and moist, which is always good, but it won't stop you from getting them. I don't really mind mine most of the time. I figure it's battle wounds!! Good luck!!

I use Mothers friend. Bought it at a drugstore b/c I couldn't find it anywhere else. They have it in a squirt type bottle or in a little jar. I used the jar. I do not have any stretch marks. I put it all over religously. I tried the cocoa butter by palmers (I think) but the smell made me sick.

Pure vitamin E oil. Its a mineral oil and is the best working of anything I've tried. You can get it at any Walmart or that type store. Just apply with a cotton ball 2x a day like morning and night and let it fully dry. Make sure to wear a bra only or something until it dries so your shirt doesn't soak it up.

Mederma, Palmers, Mother's Friend. Keep in mind that if you are predisposed to getting stretch marks none of these will really do anything anyway. But, they will help with the itching of the stretching skin at least.

I used lotion every day after getting out of the shower and I did not get even one stretch mark. My sister and mom both get them and I just passed them by. Coa-Coa butter was the lotion that I used and several of my closest friends that have no stretch marks did the same thing. I would try this!!!
