Congrats!!! I had my 20 week ultrasound last week and Im having a boy as well!!!!!!! I have several books that all conflict with each other. Some say 10 ounces at this time others say 7 or 12. I think you just got a big boy!!Anyway if something were wrong, you would know. Like they want me to come in for an ultrasound every 3 weeks bc my amniotic fluid is low...so if your still at 1 appointment a month and the doctor didn't say anything was wrong or seem like anything was wrong you are fine.

They will name you if whatever is fallacious. When I had my 22 ultrasound, they instructed me that I used to be 18 weeks, considering that of the scale of the child, after which I had a "20" week ultrasound, which might had been week 24, however they mentioned I used to be measuring extra alongside than they suggestion.. all of it will depend on the scale of the child, the whole lot must be k... well good fortune!

I had an ultrasound at 19 weeks 1 day and the baby was 9 ounces at that point. You need to consider that you are almost to 21 weeks and the baby is growing quickly now. If I were you I would call the doctor and talk about my concerns. Congratulations!!!

In my newsletter it says at 20 weeks the baby should weigh about 10oz. If they didn't say anything to you I would not be too worried, you can always call and ask to be sure. Were your dates correct? Well congrats on the little boy! I bet you are so excited!

I had this same problem. Friday I had my 20 week and my son weighed 16 ounces. They said normal weight would be 7 ounces but didnt seem worried. Maybe our due dates are wrong or we are just having big babies. Best wishes!

There is nothing to worry about. It just means you are going to have a big baby!! maybe 9 or 10 lbs. That is all it means. My sisters baby was 17oz when she was 20weeks and 4 days. So no sweat. you just might have to have a c-section. you will find out more when you get closer

That sounds just about right to me. My second was bigger then my first as well. I think that seems right on for 20 weeks
