It's 80%. That's the statistic, anyways. It was listed in the packet I got with The Pill. It's always stuck out in my mind.

Likeliness Of Getting Pregnant

If 100 sexually active women do not use any contraception, 80 to 90 will get pregnant in a year. So whenever it is stated that a particular contraceptive method is, say 90% effective, it means that out of 100 women using it, 10 will get pregnant in each year of use. The chance of pregnancy drops after age 30 to 50-70 percent.
An important consideration is that barrier contraceptives provide protection from sexually transmitted infections, including HIV/AIDS. This is of particular importance for those who have more than one partner, which increases their likelihood of getting an infection.
All I'm saying is be careful. Make sure you and your partner are purely monogamous and STD free before you take the plunge without a condom.

About 85 percent of sexually active women who don't use any form of protection will become pregnant within a year.
Here are the percentages of women who will get pregnant within a year, using some common birth control methods, assuming typical (not perfect) use:
Condoms -- 15 %
Pill -- 8 %
Depo-Provera -- 3 %
IUD -- less than 1 %
Pull-out -- 27 %

It depends a lot more on timing and your age than on position. In fact, many believe position has nothing to do with it (so don't listen to any bs they say about 'not getting pregnant if you do it this way or that way).
On any given cycle (month), you have a 20-25% chance of getting pregnant if you do not use protection. Now, lets say you do it every month, or every day for every month. Is each time a 20% chance? Maybe, but the chances will grow and grow that you might be pregnant. In fact, in the course of a year, a healthy fertile couple has a 75-85% chance of getting pregnant.
You don't want to get pregnant--don't have sex. 100% effective. Condoms, somewhere between 89 and 99% effective (depending on application and additional precautions). Rythmn method, about 80% effective if done correctly.

This feels like a very immature question. The variants of the two (or more) people involved would change the ratio vastly. There isn't a right way to answer this question. If you don't want to get pregnant, use protection and don't fool around. You are in control of you body. Remember that!

depends if the girl was ovulating at the time. 14 days after a period is when you ovulate. NEVER have sex without protection during this time unless you want to get pregnant. Some people have a hard time getting pregnant for a long time and can have sex for yrs without getting pregnant, others can get pregnant by even having vaginal contact by a hand that has semen on it. good luck

RE:
whats the likeliness of getting pregnant without protection?
throughout our schooling, especially when it came to sex ed, we were always told to use protection like condoms and such to stop from std spread and teenage pregency
This kinda left an impression that if you have sex without a condom, you will get the girl pregnant (like 100%)
I know it...

Wow! Is this a serious question? Well it does vary on things but none of them being what position.... The likeness would be in my opinion~very likely.
Your concern should be with STD's aswell they are spreading like wild fire & they will affect many things in your life for a long time...for example if you were to get HPV it can live dormant in a male aside from all the physical consequences one day when you do get married & want to have children if you wife has it or even got it from you it may interfere with her fertility...and this is the lesser of all examples!
Anway back to your pregnancy concern...I have a sister in law that got pregnant on the very first time she had sex! And I also had a 2nd cousin who got pregnant from just heavy petting!!! Meaning that they never inserted the penis in her but he came on her leg...it was confirmed when she went to the doc and they said that when she is closer to delievering the baby they will have to break her hymn (as teenagers say "pop her cherry")
So hopefully with that being said you have to see it like this~sperms sole purpose their sole job in this world is to get to the egg, by any means neccessary...they will even live inside of her (if the environment is right) for up to 3 days!!! To wait for the egg!
Maybe I'd say that you have a 90% likeness~if you are uneducated about your cycle your fertile signs & all that....& if you were educated about all that, new your cycle, it was like clock work & you knew all the signs of ovulation you used opks and you temped then maybe it would drop to 70%....
Good luck!

Position has absolutely nothing to do with it.
This isn't really a percentage kind of thing - you're either ovulating when you have unprotected sex, or you're not and if the egg gets fertilized then either everything goes well with implantation and early development or it doesn't.
Just don't take the chance.
