Okay, This is the thing, everyone on here is always saying that "oh they wont move as much now that they are bigger and dont have as much room" Well Dont believe them because if you look online @ baby websites or if you bring this across your doctor they will seem worried about!!! Your doctor should have given you a kick count chart. If not, call them. Actually either way call your doctor.. But first drink something and eat something and get him moving. See how many times he kicks within 2 hours. Record it and let your doctor know. Your doctor may want you to come in to get a stress test on your baby. Your baby is suppose to move just as much as he used to, the kicks are suppose to be more aggressive or jsut feel like he is gliding his body parts around in your belly..
Good luck.

It is always best to check with the doctor. Sometimes at the end of the pregnancy the movements seem less because the baby is bigger and there isn't as much room to move around as before, so don't freak out. But you should be feeling regular movement. Try pushing on the baby to see if you wake him up. Babies do sleep in the womb. But I would call your doctor just to be on the safe side.

I think that's normal, because he or she doesn't have as much room to move around. What you should do, to be comforted, is to count the baby's movements over a four hour period. Get a copy of "What to Expect when You're Expecting." It will tell you the exact count that you're looking for- I can't quite remember. It's the best pregnancy book ever, and it has an article about this subject. Good Luck and Congratulations!

Out you feet up drink a cold glass o OJ and count the movements your baby is much larger at this stage and has less room to move around but the juice should wake him up sit there for about 30 min watch somr t.v and don't get up if you feel nothing at all you need to call your dr. ASAP but more than likely you'll feel movemnts no matter how small they count and everything should be fine

How your baby's growing: Your baby has really fattened up. She likely weighs between 6 and 7 1/2 pounds now (boys tend to be slightly heavier than girls), and she's probably between 19 and 20 inches long. She has a firm grasp, which you'll soon be able to test with your pinky! Her organs are fully developed and in place, but her lungs and brain — though developed enough for her to function now — will continue to mature right through childhood.
Wondering what color your baby's eyes will be? You may not be able to tell right away. If your baby is born with brown eyes, they'll likely stay brown. If she's born with steel gray or dark blue eyes, they may stay gray or blue or turn green, hazel, or brown by the time she's 9 months old. That's because a child's irises (the colored part of the eye) may gain more pigment in the months after she's born, but they won't get "lighter" or more blue. (Green, hazel, and brown eyes have more pigment than gray or blue eyes.)
Note: Every baby develops a little differently — even in the womb. Our information is designed to give you a general idea of your baby's development.
How your life's changing: It may be harder than ever to get comfortable enough to sleep well at night. Take it easy through the day — this may be your last opportunity to do so for quite a while. Keep monitoring your baby's movements, too. Though she's crowded, she should still be active.
Swelling of your feet is normal in these last weeks, but if you notice any swelling of your hands or face, sudden weight gain, persistent or severe headaches, blurry vision or spots before your eyes, or upper abdominal pain, call your practitioner right away, because these are symptoms of a serious condition called preeclampsia.

" I am thirty - eight weeks pregnant and my baby does not move the smae as before it actually moves alot less."
Now that i have that out of the way its normal because the baby has no where to move the baby is really big now and your sac can only hold so much so thats why he/she isnt moving as much but i would still make a appointment with your ob to find out whats going on good luck

Well he or she has a lot less room to move around now. Pay attention, but don't get too worried; I was borderline obsessed for a little while there and could not wait until my next appointment/ultrasound. My girl barely moved toward the end - she found a comfy spot and stayed there. And she was fine. If you get really worried just call your doc's office; that's what they're there for. I'm sure everything's fine :)

I wouldnt worry the babies probably running out of room lol j/k. Unless your doctor is worried your baby is fine. I noticed near the end of my pregancy my son slowed down in the full twisting around movements and all I really felt in the last few weeks was him streching out to get comforable and then he'd be still again. I think the reason they slow down in the last few weeks is because thats when the grow the most, dont worry so much, enjoy it cause as soon as they come out their never still again!!! I wish you the best

Since your baby is 28 weeks he or she has probably run out of room!!! The baby is pretty much full grown and doesn't have a lot of space in there...that could be why your baby has decreased movement...also your baby may have dropped lower in your pelvis and is ready for birth.
Check with your OBGYN if you're at all worried though.

If you are having any doubts call your dr immediately. They should make you come in and check for a heartbeat. Go with your gut.
You may try drinking a cold glass of juice or pop and lying down on your side to see if you can get that little one moving. Again if you feel the least bit worried I'd be on the phone with my dr right now.
