I know that this sounds stupid, but I was stupid and had unprotected sex but he pulled out. I know that failure rates are somewhere around 6%... but should I be in big danger of being pregnant?

I'll write something that doesn't scare you.
I used the pull out method for over a year and never once got pregnant. I don't recommend using it but as I said I never got pregnant.
I did get pregnant when he came in me. The chances aren't as high if you use pull out. I know this because I asked my doctor. I think you are safe. Don't fret. If you don't get your period though that's another story. Just don't use the pull out method again, don't beat yourself up about it and good luck. I hope everything goes well.
Don't worry either, I'm sure everything is fine.

Wow, you only have a 6% opportunity of pregnancy w/ the pull out method? Definately don't believe that. Yep, it's possible you might be- always check. Always use protection if you don't want a baby or can't have a baby currently. Of course there's a chance! I don't know why people ask this question! DUH! Is it self assurance? Hope that someone might say "no, it's just a myth"? Penis gets hard, penis has semen, penis stimulated will leak seminal fluid with semen in it, penis in vagina will very likely sneak a sperm or two in, therefor vagina is now the babys door to the world in 9 months. Oh by the way, yes you're in "danger" of being pregnant but you're also in "danger" of STD's... Just a tidbit unless you might ask later if you might have contracted an STD if you had unprotected sex. Put your mind to rest, get a pregnancy test and use a condom or birth control pills so you won't be caught off guard or scared- the Russian Roulette of life.

Well, if the failure rate is really 6%, then I would say that is your likelyhood, too. It's not impossible. My husband and I had our second child that way, but you should calm down about it. There is nothing you can do right now. Get a test or go to the doctor in a couple of weeks. Whatever you're feeling now, remember it the next time you have sex. Good Luck!

Well, pulling out is NOT using protection..I actually got pregnant on my honeymoon using this technique ohh and my sis got pregnant doing this too..luckily for me..it did not really matter either way to me..

You are not in big danger but you can not rule it out either. It is possible..go see a doc or take a pregnancy test if you do not start you period on time!

Yes only b/c sperms still is enters your vagina and uterus even if it does ejaculate. It's called pre-ejaculation.

I would take a hpt if you suspect you are pregnant about 2 weeks after having intercouse or at least 5 days before your next period.

Next time use protection cuz this method is not as safe as you think. You gotta think pregnancy isn't the only thing to worry about, there are STD's to worry about.

you're maximum fertile as much as six weeks after giving start. And the pull out approach is the extra severe approach to apply in case you do no longer prefer to grow to be pregnant. Ever heard of precum? My suggestion is to get a try down as quickly as achievable. you relatively ought to take a seat down and picture approximately this, having one baby is hard sufficient having 2 toddlers the two under the age of a million is much extra sturdy.

It depends on how good the guy knows his body and if he pulled out in time. It also has a lot to do with if you were fertile at the time. 50/50 chance either way.

Pre *** contains sperm. And failure rates with this method are much higher than 6%. So yes, it is very possible you are pregnant.

You should go to your nearest Planned Parenthood and get the morning after pill (this works for 72 hours after unprotected sex). Believe me it's worth it, it will take a lot of stress off of you.

I hope this helps!
