Yes the baby is probably already in position and running out of room in there making it harder for him or her to move. If you don't feel it at all then you should consult yor doctor. As long as you fell it every now and then you are fine and almost there. GOod Luck and Congrats.

During the last few weeks of pregnancy it is not abnormal to feel the baby a little less because the baby has grown so much bigger and have king od run out of room, but just in case I would still have an ob/gyn doctor take a look and make sure its not due to any medical issues.

Your baby shouldn't be moving less, but the movements are different. I am 37 weeks pregnant and I thought the baby was moving less at first. However, I realized that the kicks and jabs were not what they once were, because she has ran out of room. I do feel her body move and her push on me quite frequently, actually just as frequently as she use to kick. You should still be feeling ten "movements" in two hours.
Hope I helped, congrats and good luck.

Seems like my baby didn't move much at all 2 weeks before and I remember being worried. Then the night before he was born it felt like he did a somersault in my belly. And I guess he did getting into position --'cause the next morning I started my contractions and when I got to the Dr. and he examined me he told me I was already dilated 4cms. and would have a baby by dark. And I did--at 6:50 pm --the surprising thing was he weighed 10 lbs. lol-this was back in 1980 and they didn't do ultra sounds and all the technology they have today. Good luck and u will have a baby before long.

Well, you have to realize that the baby is pretty much it's birth size and there isn't much room in there for the baby to move around. Plus your body is getting ready for the birth and I'm sure that has something to do with it. I have four children and I always felt them move less during the final few weeks before delivery.

It will have less room to move so movements are not as fast and furious as before, it will feel as if the baby is moving less, but all in all it just can't make the wild movements anymore and you get ocassionally kicks and punches.

Yes, it's very normal. The baby is bigger and has less room to move around.

yes because the baby has less room to move. make sure you do kick counts. your baby should be kicking 10 time in an hour. it's best to count after having a soda or snack.
