I went to the hospital today and they sent me home. Im almost 2cm dialated and my cervix is anterior and baby is low and in position. But the contractions are not strong enough they said. But the pain is a constant period like pain.

All 3 of my labors started out with period like cramping.....there is a good chance that you are in early stages of labor. No sense in running off to the hospital now cause chances are they will just send you home. When they are regular and 5-10 minutes apart then head that way.

My guess is you're in labor- that's what the beginning of it feels like- often times, the hospital likes you to stay home til you're further dialated.
If you start bleeding more than just a little spotting, go back ASAP.

Sounds like you are in labor once your contractions go into a pattern go back but don't wait too long! Congrats you are going to have a baby soon!

Possibly contractions. If they are getting stronger and more regular with time, call your doc because you're probably in labor. If you're in severe irregular pain w/any bleeding, go to the ER.

Could be labor contractions. If your water breaks and your "cramps" get longer, more intense, and closer together then go to the hospital.

I had a bloody period like spot on the bed while I was sleeping and the hospital said don't worry...you're in labor! And it was wonderful...

Sounds like contractions to me.

That's what mine felt like...severe menstrual cramping and pressure that makes you want to curl forward into a ball around your belly.

Call your OB/Midwife/Doula
