HI...I used plan B 48 hours after unprotected sex...If I became pregnant, I would've conceived on or about the 13th of march. Today is the 21st...the last few days I have been very tired, nauseated, and my appetite is out of control. Could I still be pregnant even though I took an emergency contraceptive? And wouldn't it be too early to have any symptoms of pregnancy anyways?
Thanks
My last period was feb 26

Yes, you could still be pregnant. There's always that chance that the egg and sperm fertilized quickly, before you took the pills. You can start feelings symptoms very early in pregnancy but the symptoms can also be onset by stress and worrying so try to relax. Best thing to do is get a test from a store or go back to the dr that gave you the plan b and talk to them about it. I have used it before and the dr always told me the possibilities of me still being pregnant because it just prevents fertilization but won't harm an egg already fertilized. I wish you the best of luck!

Yes it would be way too early to have big pregnancy sympoms, since you only had sex a week ago. The Plan B is very hard on your body and contains a mega-dose of the very same hormones contained in regular, daily-use birth control pills.
Because of the high dose, PLan B causes lots of unpleasant side effects, which is more than likely what you are experiencing.

Best bet is to get on regular, daily-use birth control so you won't have to take Plan B again, because Plan B is a) not as effective as regular birth control and b) because daily-use pills are much gentler, easier on your body.

Visit planned parenthood for a prescription for the pill.

mine was feb 21 and i am hoping i am. its still too early to tell for you unless you have a postive test and i think its too early for that. wait until your missed p which is around march 26 should be what your 30 day.? normally and every preg is different you wouldnt have those symptoms yet, you would have hunger before your period, the others could be because you are getting sick maybe or maybe you ov earlier than you think. take a test and if neg take another closer to when you would expect your monthly. hope this helps, i know when we have a question we would like the answer right now, i know i do, but take a test now (to help you) and take another around the 26th on monday (I am trying to get preg and i will test Friday (day 31 of mine) fyi i was neg on day 27

you could possibly be pregnant. the morning after pill isn't 100% effective.. as time goes on, it's effectiveness decreases. In terms of symptoms of pregnancy and when they occur, it varies with people. Some get them right away and they are really bad, others get slight side effects early. Your obvious best bet is to take a preg. test. Maybe it's in ur head? I know when i thought i was pregnant before i started picking apart my actions and finding things to make me think i was. Good luck.

I took a plan B pill a few years ago within 24 hours of having unprotected sex....
Later I found out that I was 6 weeks pregnant. When I called to cuss planned parenthood's *** out... they informed me that the pill is only 75% effective! Can you believe how unreliable it is and how few people know this???
You could be prego...

The plan B pill is something like 99.9 percent effective if taken within 72 hours of unprotected sex...and yes i think it would be way to soon to have such evident signs of pregnancy.
