this question is not for me, is for a friend of mine. She has the marina shot (I believe that's how you spell it) well i guess its the depo, and she is curious to know if it is possible to become pregnant even though she got the shot...also is minor abdominal pain a sign of prenancy??? we heard that it may be the uterus or something stretching...i dont know but she has been experiencing some abdominal pain but she is unsure if she's pregnant or not being that she has the shot!!!
Note: please just straight answers, we dont want any critizism.

yes it is. No birth control is 100% effective.

If she's experiencing side effects, what you are describing, then she should tell her doctor about them and see if they are of concern.
