the past couple of days I have felt a lot of pressure internally very low down towards my cervix, it is quite uncomfortable and Im feeling the need to empty my bladder more often, although there doesn't seem to be much to empty most of the time! could this be the baby's engaged head? also I am having 10-15 occurences of braxton hicks contractions every day for the past few days, is it normal to have them this much? (I will call the midwife in the morning to check as well so no body tell me off for asking please, I am just impatient) I am 27 and a half weeks.

I'm 33 weeks prego and I keep waiting to feel some sort of bond with my baby but i just feel like there's an alien inside me...
has anyone else gone through this? I'm worried that i wont bond with my baby when he is here.

Okay. I was 22 weeks pregnant when they did this, and they said it was a girl. Well now even though they said it was a girl, everyone keeps asking me "are you sure youre not having a boy?" so here is the "Its a girl" sonogram pic:

I think its clearly a girl, but does anybody else see differently? Any help would be great. Im just worried b/c everything we have is pink...is there any chance for a boy?

I've been doing a lot of research on natural gender selection. So I'm pretty learned on all the information that is out there. And I believe that there are things that can be done to help get the sex of baby you want. But how come whenever any one on here asks a question about it, everyone automatically shoots them down and says...it's not possible, only the guy determines the sex, etc. Have these people done their own research to know for sure they are right? Or are they just repeating things they've heard and being closed minded?

I had a blighted ovum in 06/06 and I'm concerned it will happen again, or even work m/c. I'm really watching my symptoms to make sure they increase consistently. I'm testing my HcG levels today for the 2nd 48 hr test. Should I be so Concerned or is there anyone who has been through this?

I'm 2 1/2 weeks late and I took two pregnancy tests, last week, that both came out negative. However, my breasts are very sore, my head hurts all the time, and all I want to do is sleep, and eat. Could I be pregnant or does it sould like I'm just coming down with something??

I am due on Saturday. Last week when the doctor checked me, I was dilated to 2cms, and he stripped my membranes. I've also lost my mucus plug over the last 3 days, but there was no blood. I keep having cramping/burning like pain in my back and abdomen, and cervix...but the pain is not always accompanied by a contraction. Is this still a sign of labor?

Okay so if there was a faint faint line on my HPTno matter how faint, even unseeable unless squinting then that means there was some HCG in there? and after the alloted time frame, I shouldn;'t even read it? the positive can go away or an evap line can even take over a faint positive, it doesn't matter what happens after the time limit right? So I should kind of just take it as I got a faint positive and take a first response in a couple days? Sorry I am such a pain, this is just so important to me! Thanks!

I'm seventeen weeks pregnant, I'm still not showing. I still sleep on my stomach sometimes, will that hurt my baby though? Oh yeah... why is it my friend who is only 11 weeks shows more than I do? Shouldn't I be showing a lot by now?

Hi there....well I had my ultra sound yesterday, doc said it's most likely a girl... I am very happy don't get me wrong, but my family and I thought it was gonna be a boy, like I really had a gut feeling, she was gonna be a he... is there a chance of it being wrong??? The baby was moving alot and by the looks of it the doctor wasnt quite sure... is it too early to be definit??? Gosh it sounds bad....I'm just excited to have my first baby, I want to start the shopping thing but I've heard of cases where the ultrasound or actually the sex of the baby was incorrect...so I don't know how long I should wait to be 100% sure...

my best friend and her boyfriend had sex now she thinks she's pregnant but she's still taking the birth control pills.. is that bad for the baby or not??

hi everyone i was wondering if this could have been a miscarriage..one morning i got up an di thought i was having a period ( i also thought i may have been pregnant) when i wiped there was a alot of blood and then this fleshy clot followed by some smaller dark red clots and then this little dark blue or blackish clot thing ( about the size of a large marble) fell out..was this a miscarriage or am i just wierd??

THIS IS VERY INTERESTING TO ME...MY FIRST WAS A C-SECTION FOR FAILURE TO PROGRESS AFTER LABORING FOR 24 HOURS AND GETTING TO 5CM. HAD TO BE INDUCED TO GET THAT FAR... AND MY SECOND ONE IS PLANNED FOR APRIL 16. MAYBE SOME OF YOU LADIES CAN COMMENT ON THE PAIN OF LABORING THEN HAVING A C-SECTION COMPARED TO JUST HAVING YOUR C-SECTION PLANNED? I WAS VERY VERY SORE WITH THE FIRST ONE...TOOK WELL OVER A MONTH TO RECOVER...IS THE PAIN LEVEL ANY DIFFERENT I WONDER? I am almost 8 weeks pregnant and during these past 2 months I've had canned tuna twice and fresh tuna that was fried and at another time when it was cooked, that was about 24 oz altogether. Is that going to be detrimental to my baby's health??!!! I live in the Caribbean right now.

Today I took an HPT and about 2 minutes later there was a small hint of a line, and it was so hard to see, I had to squint. I took it at about 10:15 this morning. The time frame was 10 minutes. It was a New Choice from the Dollar store. I don't know what to make of it cuz now it def looks like an evap line, it's gray and shadowy looking. Can that happen, a positive SO light that an evap line takes over? Can evap lines come so soon before the time limit is up??

I had my baby 2-18-07 and i am just wondering when I should expect them to be healed? I know I should have asked the dr but I wasn't concerned about anything but my baby at that time. All I wanted was to hold her and love her.

Is it true that you have a bowel movement when giving birth? Any way to prevent? I'm not super modest, but just feel like absolutely all dignity is going away. My doc goes to my church-I don't want to poop in front of him even if he's seen it a lot.
