How about going to a doctor. And your friend should stop taking birth control pill. Its obvious that she never took them regularly and now she is pregnant. Tell her to use condoms.

First of all why does she think she is pregnant? Did she miss a period? Thats a tell-tale sign or symptom of possible pregnancy. Every other symptom of early pregnancy I think is crap. Tender breast, nausea, indigestion can all be attributed to PMS and nerves. Basically: no period, late period = possibly pregnant!
If she thinks she may be pregnant, I'd still keep taking 1 pill a day until you buy a pregnancy test. If pregnancy test comes out positive, then quit taking the pills, and get an appointment with a doctor for a blood test. Until the appointment either avoid having sex or use condoms, just in case.
The pills are said not to harm the baby if they are taken only for 3 weeks or less.
Here is what you do:
Get a pregnancy test from a pharmacy, they are $6, and worth every penny, because you dont wanna dwell or worry over this before you know for sure.
Best of Luck

Have her take a pregnancy test ONCE SHE MISSES HER PERIOD... (this happened to me)
IF AND ONLY IF the test comes up positive... then she should stop taking the pill.
I took the pill for well over a month before I knew I was pregnant. My doctor said that the hormone that the pill puts in your body - is the same homone that a baby puts in your body when you're pregnant...
So the pill doesn't harm the baby at all - your body just has TONS of that hormone.
It's better to keep taking the pill nonstop - until she knows for sure if she is pregnant - because if she stops taking it and isn't pregnant - chances are she will be very soon after stopping.
Hope everything goes well!
I was VERY surprised to learn that I was pregnant while on the pill... it CAN happen!

I know I'll probably get a dozen thumbs down for this, but I see so many things out of whack here:
1. There are reasons for waiting to have sex until after marriage, and this is a big one. Where's the "planning" in "family planning," or the commitment? On both their parts?
2. OK, end of sermon. But now the sex for fun and sport has crossed the line and it's time to stop the sex AND the pills until these people have had a chance to realize exactly what they are dealing with. Have they created a child? She (and him with her, hopefully) can do this a couple ways:
a. Home pregnancy test (the best one is only 90% reliable), or
b. Doctor's office -- admittedly more expensive, but much, much more accurate.
3. The drugs used in the pill can cause serious birth defects in the child.
4. The creation of a child is the first step to embarking on the most important job either of these people will ever have in their lives: parenting. So it's time to think about their plans for the future. And if this is a false alarm, it's still time to think about their plans for the future. And what kind of parents they want for their child -- future child, or this one.

She should stop taking it but let her boyfriend know so they wont have any sex just to be safe. The pill gives you symptoms of being pregnant but it can hurt the baby at anytime go to the clinic she got the pills from and have them do a blood test asap and if she isn't pregnant they can give her options on how to start the pill again and when i t Will be safe to start having sex again. My mom had all three of us on the pill so maybe a different kind of bc can be an option too.

Stop taking it and take a pregnancy test. And just in case it's negative they should not have sex until she starts her birth control again, obviously. The hormone control in birth control(sounds kind of funny) would be damaging to the child. I knew a girl who only lived to be 19 and suffered retardation due to her mother taking birth control after she was pregnant. An over the counter(otc) pregnancy test shouldn't be affected by the birth control, but if she wants to play it safe she can skip the otc test and go to a doctor, maybe a free clinic if she is worried about the cost.

Ever heard of a pregnancy test? If she can't afford one she should go to a pregnancy care center for a free one. Yes, the pill can hurt the baby if she keeps taking it while pregnant. Your friend should get tested as soon as possible.

Keep taking it, but go get a pregnancy test ASAP. If she is pregnant, she needs to stop taking the pill.
