It is safe to use oil, and vaseline and things like that during intercourse. None of them provide birth control without a condom. Ky is the best lubricant if needed. If you are not worried about pregnancy or diseases a condom should not be needed.

NO!!
Only use water based lubricants during sex. Oil based anything doesn't get absorbed by the body and just stays around inside your body until it's naturally discharged - which takes some time. This predisposes you to getting all sorts of infections because your vaginal walls are coated in an oil product.

People have been using some of these things for years. You have to find out what irritates you personally. Some things others use, may not agree with you and your body. Try the ones that are specifically made for this use and is safe and non irritating.

I would not use baby oil or any " creams" such as lotion for intercourse. They do sell lubricants in the pharmacy for that sort of thing. Anything else used would be most likely painful and just gross.

It should do the job, but many of these items have colors and/or fragrances added to them, which can irritate the genital area. It's better to stick to a lubrication made specifically for sex. Check these out.....

I don't think you'd suffer any permanent damage but you might end up with a nasty yeast infection. You're better off using a product specifically designed for use as a personal lubricant like KY or Astroglide.
