a condoms are not 100% prefect

The condoms are 86-89% effective during typical use. That means 86-89 couples will get pregnant after a year of normal use. If you used the condom correctly, that means: condom was new, not expired, the package was not torn or worn, the condom was put on properly before any vagina-penis contact, if it stayed on the whole time. Then the chances of you being pregnant are very small.

If you didn't use the condom correctly. It was exprired, or you only put it on after some initial vagina-penis contact. Then you may become pregnant. If the condom slipped, you may become pregnant. If the condom broke, you may become pregant.

What you can do is go to pharmacy or planned parenthood and obtain Plan-B effective 72-hours after unprotected sex or failure of condom. It's a couple of pills that give high level of hormones that prevent the fertilized egg from implanting in your uterus. They lessen chaces of pregnancy by some 80%. But the more you wait the smaller the chances get.

Best of luck. Let me know of you need any more help or guidance

They are only 99% effective which means there is a 1% failure rate. You should go to the doctors as you didnt put what your symptoms are or whether you have done a test or not. If you're not pregnant then you should possibly use two forms of contraception such as going on the pill and using condoms and if you are I wish you all the luck in the world

No form of contraception is 100% safe which is why you're encouraged to use condoms and a contraceptive pill as well. What makes you think you're pregnant, if it's because your periods are late this could be anything especially if you're very young as it takes some girls several years for their periods to become regular and some womens never do. If you're that worried then don't ignore the problem, go and get a pregnancy test. Good luck.

Pregnancy is always possible if you are having sex. No birth control is 100%. Read the side of the condom box, it usually says right on it the % it is..I belive it's about 97 - 99% or something like that...but that's not 100%

The only form of birth control that is 100% effective at preventing pregnancy is abstinence. You could very well be pregnant. Condoms are quite effective, but there are still a percentage of people who get pregnant using them. It would be best, if you are going to have sex, to use multiple forms of birth control, but even that is still not 100% effective.

There is really no such thing as "safe" sex - only "safer" sex. Condoms aren't always 100% safe - perhaps there was a small tear or a hole in it? The possibility of being pregnant is there - but is probably slim if the condom was used correctly and in good condition.

Other than total absintance (never having sex or letting a loaded penis anywhere near you) is 100% effective as a contraceptive.

All other forms on contraceptive (including condoms) can fail so yes, if you've had sex there is a chance your pregnant.

Condoms can split, you might have put it on to late etc... there are loads of reasons.

Test as soon as you think your late, that way you will have pleanty of time to make your mind up.

Haven't you ever seen the Friends episode where Rachel tells Ross she's pregnant lol ???
Condoms are only like 97% effective....

So there's a 3% chance you can get pregnant.... it says so right on the box.
The only birth control that is 100% effective is to not have sex.
I was on the pill - which is 99% effective... and I'm 12 weeks pregnant.

Good Luck :)

the only 100% birth control is to not do it at all. there could have been a pin size hole in the end, it happens all the time. I've heard of women getting pregnant being on the pill.
