The baby was in good position, it is very clearly a girl. Have you seen a boy ultrasound? It looks very different. People always comment about the way a woman carries as if that is a tell all about what they are having. I think you're safe with the pink. My girls' shots weren't half as clear as that and they were right. Congrats on the girl! Best of luck.

It depends on the skill of the practitioner reading the sonogram. I've read that there is usually about a 90% chance of being correct by 16 weeks - and you have a pretty clear pic, so you have a good chance that it is a girl - but there is always that chance that you could be surprised! Hope you are happy with your baby either way! I didn't want to be told my doctor's opinion, but I guessed correctly myself with both of my kids. What do you feel like your baby will be?

you're able to def bypass by potential of the sonogram and stop bein in denial,lol.....i became in basic terms like that. I had 2 boys and the two pregnancies completely opposite i'm going to have SWORE that the 2d became a woman because of the way i became wearing, the flaws i became yearning, the midsection fee and each thing...I even argued with the ultrasound tech approximately it lol......I asked him for a %and he mentioned he couldnt try this so I had some doubt, all he informed me became 80 5% boy so I had to have faith him....I had morning affliction BBAADD with my 2d besides and not with my 1st. So this is going to tutor that NO 2 pregnancies are the comparable no rely what you're having. i might have faith the technician, they are in particular experienced to decipher what's what on an ultrasound and in the event that they arent confident, then they only dont say :O)

I think you are safe with all the pink stuff....I never found out what I was having with my girls but the doctors all say if it is a girl it will basically just have 3 lines(which I can see on your sonogram) I have seen several boy sonograms and trust me they look much different.

I've had 2 ultrasounds, for both my kids, both showing boys. My first was in almost the exact position yours is in....they look completely different. I'd say you are definately having a girl.
Plus from what I've heard 3 lines is the "girl" parts and I clearly see 3 lines.
Congratulations.

I think it's very obvious that it's a girl. I had one at 14 weeks and you could see the 3 little lines... just like yours, however yours is more deveoped. How could anyone mistake that. I'm not an u/s tech but I believe that it's a girl. Best of luck and hit the malls!!!

I have had a boy and a girl and with my boy there was no mistake that he was going to be a he. With my girl I was not convinced of the ultrasound, I just knew she was a girl. I would listen to whast your body feels like your having (even if you second guess yourself) because you are most likly correct but other than that it looks like a girl to me! Congrats!
