Its not likely but can happen. Unfortunetly one of the side of effects of the depo is eating more because the depo shot makes you feel like your tummy is empty. I was on the depo and just about everyone I know has been on it and has gained weight because they think they need to eat more. Its just a side effect of the depo unfortunetly as long as you keep that in mind you should be fine. As far as the sleepiness goes maybe your kid is just starting to walk and you need to use more energy to keep up with them. That could be a cause. But as far as the likeness of being pregnant its 1 out of 100 women that can become pregnant while on the depo. So its not highly likely. If you are still wondering take a home test.

I was on depo for 7 years and never once got pregnant. Sometimes before my next shot was due I would feel kind-of weird, like my body knew it was time to get it. I know birth control is different for everyone, but for me it worked 100%. After I stopped taking my husband and I got pregnant right away.

It is highly unlikely that you could be pregnant while on depo. If you are concerned take a pregnancy test, but these symptoms might be from the shot itself.

It is a slim chance. I am also on the depo shot, the shot is about 97% safe of pregnancy.

Maybe side effects from the birth control...sometimes the side effects feel like pregnancy symptoms..but if you suspect it could be a pregnancy take a hpt or see your Dr. for a test...Good Luck!

You just need to remember that not all birth control is 100% preventative. There is still a chance. I don't think you are pregnant but what would it hurt to check?
