I'm 18 weeks pregnant and I haven't felt my baby move. I was wondering if that was normal or should I be worried. I haven't seen my doctor since my 15 weeks appt. My next appoinment is in 2 weeks. Anyways this is my first pregnancy and I just get a curious about certain things since this is all new to me. Thanks for your help.

My doctor whom I don't trust anymore, told me to stop taking multi-vitamins for most of the second trimester but I'm 2 weeks away from the 8th month and will start on them again without the Dr's ok about it. Did the Dr's bad advice cost the baby? What will be the affects on the baby cause of the lack of multi-vitamins? It is my first pregnancy.

Okay, my work is giving me a shower...but who throws it for my family and friends? It won't be any of my friends because I only have a couple that live far off. Can my mother give me one? She says it's not her job (she never was the social type) Or can I throw one for myself and invite my family and friends? Not trying to sound selfish but I kinda need one to help out with all that is needed with a new baby. Plus it would be fun to have everyone together for a few social hours as well (I don't get out much). So what's the deal?

I am 11 weeks pregnant and yesterday I ate about 100 grams of sugared ginger! Could this be dangerous? I have read on the Internet that it is recommended against the nausea while pregnant (but in another form...in tea etc.) but also that it is NOT recommended while pregnant!!!

when u go for an ultrasound, how do they tell how far u are? do they determine by how big the baby is? if so... what if the baby is growing a lil faster?

has anyone ever heard for being severly dehydrated during early pregnancy without any symptoms and without haaving vomited. I am a little confussed. I really don't feel any different than normal. Haven't even been having morning sickness.

what i wanna know is me and my partner have been trying for a baby for months and months ive had sex on whats meant to be my ovulation days and still nothing. what i dont understand is there are all these people having abortions and getting pregnant under age (which is no life to bring up a baby) and people having one night stands and getting pregnant. what are peoples views on this?

And wondered what i should be tested for besides gentic chromsome for the baby. showed no signs of miscarriage and this is fourth child. first miscarriage. now i have enlarged uterus and dilated cervix and have to go back in and do dnc. does anyone know what enlarged uterus could mean. some of the tests i have asked for are automine tests does anyone know if i should ask for more. please no rude comments this is a hard time and another baby cannot replace the one i lost and if the baby had a problem i would love it anyway God doesnt make any mistakes and i miss my baby thanks

I am so confused about contractions, I mean I know a lot of them are B Hicks, but sometimes I think its real. I have had them last all day long, but never get stronger. I am afraid I am really not gonna know when they are real. I am having some now. I started having them about 3 hours ago REAL PAINFUL, but then I just had to go to the bathroom(bowels), and its not quite as intense now, but still crampy like. Is it just my bowels or what. I dont know what to do.

Me and my girlfriend use condoms and she is on birth control. but latly she been having stumic cramps and she was suppose to start her period 2 days ago. she called me this morning and told me that she really think that she is pregnant. I'm going to take her to the clinic to get tested today, but how can we find a job and keep it a secret from her parents? because if her step parents find out that she is pregnant she will be kicked out of the house. What can we do.

Please no comments like absanence is the key or yall should of spred her legs.

Ok, I have had 5 previous miscarriages and I am currently 11 weeks, 3 days pregnant. I always thought I would be safe if I made it to 12 weeks and then I was on here yesterday and read about ladies losing their babies at 17 - 24 weeks. HELP. I am sooooooo paranoid now. I can't sleep and this is all I think about now. I am sick to my stomach because of this. I have had several ultrasounds so far, they all show a good heartbeat etc. I know this is not good for my baby for me to worry like this, but I can't help myself. Any words of wisdom?!

I'm only 8 weeks pregnant, and have not yet had my first appointment with my doctor. My concern is that in weighing daily I've noticed I have not gained a single pound (still at 108) ( I'm 5'4 by the way ). Ive been eating as many small meals a day as I can hold down, usually ( breakfast, snack, lunch, snack, dinner ). Should I have gained weight by now, or is morning sickness preventing any gain? Ive also noticed that even when I'm not hungry but know I need to eat I'm unable to because I'm nauseated, do I eat anyway, even though I know I wont be able to hold it down? How can I be sure I'm eating enough/the right porportions? The crazy thing is my abdomen is swollen so I look like Ive gained weight, but havent. I've been told that 2-4 lbs is acceptable for the first few months, but does that mean I should have gained weight already or what? I'm sorry if I sound ignorant, this is my first pregnancy and I'm so lost and want to be sure so any advice is appreciated. Thank you!

I am 5months along, and expercing severve muscle aches. The pain is just below my ribs. I have talked to my doctor about this, and she said if I can point the pain out, no worries. It is also called some big medical term, and everything is o.k, and normal. I just wanted to know has anyone ever experinced this? and what did you do to subside the aches? I am a small frame chick, and I know its because my belly is growing, but geesh! It hurts! Any suggestions?

I had an ultrasound yesterday and was told to have minimal subchorionic bleeding. When I was 5 weeks along I had spotting for a week. Now I'm already 8 weeks pregnant and no spotting but they detected a bleed in the ultrasound. My husband and I haven't had sex since I had spotting but now does it mean we still can't have sex?

I am from sommalia,after we got engaged my mother checked my to be wife to check if she was circumcised.Sadly she was not circumcised.My mother decided to circumcise her the same night of our marriage.I remember she was escorted into the room with my mother.She did not know anything about what she was getting into.Though I knew I didnt tell as i know she would not co-operate.My mother stripped her naked and fifteen women who come with the circumciser took hold of her and pinned her on the bed.They opened her legs wide open and riped clotoris out.I was not allowed to come in but i knew they had started to cut her as she was screaming her lungs out.No sooner did they rip her clotoris she became unconcious and she started bleeding very profusely.We rushed her to the hospital were she was given 4 sticthes.She was unconcious for 3 days after which she regained concious..She is so scared that she is not allowing anyone to have a glimpse of it ,she is unconsolable how can I help her recover?

Has anyone had a problem like mine? i cant sleep flat as my midwife asked me not to so i sleep on side but they get sore after few hours of sleep. Is it going to get worse with weeks passing? I dont know what to do. Please help
