I am 11 weeks pregnant and yesterday I ate about 100 grams of sugared ginger! Could this be dangerous? I have read on the Internet that it is recommended against the nausea while pregnant (but in another form...in tea etc.) but also that it is NOT recommended while pregnant!!!

my doctor recommended taking ginger for morning sickness. I'm sure that eating that much once isn't a problem but I wouldn't eat that much all the time

I know the conflicting advice is weird isn't it? I'm not sure how much is too much, but I ate ginger candy, sugared ginger, drank ginger tea, etc. all day every day for two months, and so far my baby is healthy. I don't know if this will help, but always check with your doctor before believing that stuff on the web!
