It is possible. Unlikely, but certainly possible.
NEVER rely on having sex during a period as a contraceptive strategy. Use reliable contraceptives at all times, and condoms as well to protect both partners from STD's unless you are in an exclusive relationship with a confirmed disease-free partner.

Yes, not the average but it's certainly possible. It depends on a few things. Mainly what day she ovulates. It's not unheard of for a woman to ovulate the last day or two of her menstrual cycle. In fact I have a friend that conceived on 2 occassions during menstruation. It turned out that she only had a 21 day cycle which meant she ovulated on or around day 7.

Although it is very unlikely that you could become pregnant during your period, some women do ovulate when they are bleeding (which may not actually be a menstrual period), so it is remotely possible.
If you have a consistent menstrual cycle, with several days of bleeding every 27 to 31 days, you probably can't get pregnant during your period. However, if your cycle is irregular, you may mistake some bleeding for a period; if this is the case, you should consider yourself fertile at any time during your cycle. If your period lasts more than a week, you could possibly become pregnant if you engage in sexual intercourse toward the end of your period.

Yes. Rare but yes. A woman's body can hold onto sperm for a few days even during your period. It is very gross to have sex during a period so dont. But there is ALWAYS a chance of getting pregnant. Not common but there is still a chance.

Unless your health care provider advises you otherwise, sex during pregnancy is safe for you and the baby. The baby is protected by the amniotic fluid in the womb and by your abdomen.
Some women with high-risk pregnancies are advised to avoid intercourse during pregnancy. Your health care provider will tell you if you have a high-risk pregnancy.

Yes and it is likely too. There is a big misconception that a woman can't get pregnant while she has her period. Very untrue.
