Some people are sick off and on during their entire pregnancies. Other folks never even have first trimester morning sickness.

Either adjustment is perfectly normal.

However, that doesn't make you feel any better. If you're still violently nauseated that far along, you should consult your doctor and see if there's anything that can be done. There aren't a lot of things you can or should take during pregnancy, but there may be something the doctor knows of or can suggest.

Good luck, dear, and a healthy and happy delivery to you.

Oh honey, you poor thing. Some people get sick the entire time, so it really is normal. If there is nothing in your stomach and it is bile it will burn in your throat and be just liquid.
You need to drink as much water as you can. You don't want to get dehydrated. That should be your main concern. You need water for the baby.
Try saltine crackers, dry toast (no butter), keep experimenting until you find some food you can eat. You and the baby need some nutrients.
Have someone else prepare your meals if you can, sometimes just seeing the food being made can make you will, but eating it won't.
Just keep trying different things and remember it won't last forever. (At most 25 more weeks)- sorry that's depressing, but time will pass.

I think everytime you throw up you get a little stomach acid. It's why bulemics tend to destroy their esophagus. But don't stress over that just yet.

I didn't have the nausea, but here's what I've heard words: My SIL swears by peppermint tea. A lot of women like lemon drops. There's a company that makes suckers called Preggo Pops that are supposed to help. Also - and I can't remember the name of it - there is a wristband you can wear to help ease motion sickness that some people say helps morning sickness as well.

With my 1st I threw up till 16 weeks - if you find your throwing up more than 10 times a day see your GP, it maybe a case that you have hyperemisis - and you may require anti sickness pills or i.v fluids if you have keytones in your urine.

I am 13 weeks and I throw up about 25 times a day and its getting better to what it was!!!

try motion sickness bands, eat small plain meals, try chewing gum, suck on a ice pole for extra fluids, rest as much as possible - thats all the advice anyone can say really - crackers were a waste of time for me

Every woman and every pregnancy is different. I've seen some women get sick during the whole pregnancy. My sickness ended after 3 months of pregnancy with both my kids. It's different for everyone. Find something that eases that. When I was pregnant Ice tea kept my stomach at bay. Crackers didn't work. So find something that will work for you.

I had to go to the e.r. I was so sick and had to be given medication to keep hydtrated. It's not healthy for the baby to be dehydrated all the time, you don't want to miscarry. Go to the e.r. get some fluids in you and you will feel alot better. The onyl way I can survive is on this medicine. Make sure you take care of yourself. I hate morning sickness...I feel for you. Congrats!! good luck!!

i am also 15 weeks pregnant and have had severe morning sickness since around 6 weeks i know how you feel i was advised that it may lift, it may not, try drinking ginger tea, flat ginger ale or drinking sweet tea. if there is nothing in your stomach and you are still vomitting its usually a greeny colour and from previous experience can be quite sore in the chest
