how does implantation bleeding differ from a period?

it shows my cervical length was 5.8 on 8/30/06 and on 10/31/06 it was 3.1. Is it suppose to get shorter or something, anyone know why it is suppose to shorten in length?

I had my period last week and it came on the same time as always.But it only lasted for 3 days =O.Usually it last for about 5 to 6 days.What do you think it is? Could I be pregnant or is it just nothing to worry about.I was taking medicine for a UTI before I started.Do you think that medicine may have caused it to be so short?please someone answer this.

Im 5 weeks pregnent and I am 13 what should I do. I know that this one guy is the father cause I had sex before but not since 7th grade, so it could'nt be any of the other guys.
My mom was 16 when she had me so I don't know if she would be mad or not.

im 22 weeks prego, my belly shows, most people i know know that i am prego, i have been steadly breaking out since my 1st trimester, now i only have like 2 or 3 steady blemishes...people keep saying things along the lines of i wonder why you are pimply? i was never like that!...or the baby is causing you to break out with hives!...or you are still breaking out??...or poor thing the baby is giving you hives!!, or what are you having? i respond a boy., they say that expains why you are breaking out! im to the point where i just want to say F*uck off to these ppl...& its mostly business colegues that are saying this to me, my family knows better...its driving me crazy, what is a comeback that i can say to them when they say these things?? i usually say Aah the joy of pregnancy, or something like that, but now im just so sick & tired of hearing it. Any advise??

It seems that men always have the response of "Holy crap, you're pregnant!? Oh my god!". Well no duh, genious! You had sex with her, of course she has a chance of pregnancy!

Why the surprise? If you have sex with your partner, she will have the chance of becoming pregnant, didn't you know!?

And if you don't want a child, then why the hell did you have sex in the first place? Just avoid it altogether by not having sex until you feel you want a child (which no one should). There, problem solved!

Seriously, are men subject to amnesia after a sexual encounter? Did they not remember they had sex with their wife/girlfriend? It should be the other way around, the men should be saying "I'm home from work now! Are you pregnant?". It should be the biggest thing on their mind for weeks after a sexual encounter, and they act as if they're totally ignorant to the fact.

I am also spotting a little. Little spots of brownish red. My stomach is getting big and my period hasn't come yet but I am still exercising and doing sit-ups and I am not ready for pregnancy especially when my mate says he didn't get me pregnant. Now I am wondering if I am pregnant or not.

I lost my mucus plug a week ago tomarrow.I have been cramping ever since then.Last night I woke up to contractions 8 min. apart but when I forced myself to go back to bed(because I know how long labor takes) When I woke up the next morning they were gone but I still have the cramping and now all day I've felt like I have to go poop.I did this morning and it was all normal but the feeling never went away.I know kinda alot of TMI!! I've recently been having light-headedness, nausea, heartburn (which I had with my first two pregnancies), dizziness, extreme fatigue...I took an HPT the other night but it was negative. What are the odds that it's just not showing up, but I am pregnant anyway? One of my friends never got a + HPT in the 1st trimester with any of her 3 pregnancies...what are the chances? How long do I wait before getting a blood test (since I have no idea where I am in my cycle, IF I'm even having a cycle)?

I'm 26 weeks pregnant with my first and am very confused about what I'm able to receive as far as pay during maternity leave. I'm employee through a temp agency and am not using their insurance, I'm using my husbands, do I still get disability leave? Also, how does the 6 weeks bonding law work? I keep seeing questions from women/girls who are: scared of internal examinations, not sure what's involved, thinking they're painful, etc.

???

I'm amazed; I mean, has nobody ever been to a doctor before? Why would somebody anticipate pain? Is the cervix a mystery? Has nobody ever seen a speculum?

Then -- I have no idea if there's something I'm missing, like one's cervix sometimes becoming exceptionally tender during certain stages of pregnancy and thus easily hurt by a nudge (but -- how are these people having sex, then?), or... Is something highly unusual involved in certain internal exams for pregnant women?

Pray explain...?

I found out I was pregnant last Friday. Since then I have taken a test every morning to make sure the test line was getting darker and didn't disappear.

The line now is darker then it was Friday (5 days ago) and also the line shows up faster too.

Did you do this too or am I just paranoid?
