If you went to a women's tea, banquet, or convention and when you arrived you found out that the featured speaker was eight months pregnant--would that bother you at all? Do you think that the speaker should have cancelled the speaking engagements that were in the end of her pregnancy when she found out she was pregnant or do you think it was good that she still came and spoke? Would her pregnancy affect how you received what she was saying? Do you think it makes any difference or not if a Women's speaker is pregnant or not?

today i went back to the doctor because i am three days over due and when my doctor did an internal exam it hurt. he said he was sorry for torturing me but that he was trying to get me to do something, im assuming start to dialate. does anyone know what he was doing, maybe trying to get my mucus plug to come out? i have had a very light brownish spotting since this morning.

okay i am 39 weeks preggie. I went to the doctor yesterday and he said that the baby is ready to go we are just waiting on my body to start contracting or my water to break. well all last night my stomach has been tightening up alot and getting really hard. i don't know if it is my baby though b/c the doc said that he is a well sized baby so when he moves he hurts me. At times the pain will get so bad and sharp that it will stop me dead in my tracks for a min. and yesterday i went walking for 30 mins like the doc told me to do everyday and afterwards i was hurting so bad i was walking so funny. i couldn't even walk without tears wanting to come to my eyes. so i am basically asking should i go to the hospital and get checked out if the pains countinue. they are all the way across my lower abdomin and sometimes i will get a dullin pain in my back but it don't bother me so much (either one of the pains). I JUST WANT TO GO IN LABOR ALREADY IS THIS IT?????

I am 5 weeks pregnant, I am in my mid 20's, very healthy and this is my first pregnancy. My doctor said he is not worried about my pregnancy and if I do miscarry then it is nothing I could have prevented anyway.

This is our first baby and I am worried I will miscarry because 1 out of 4 pregnancies end in miscarriages. I want to be happy about the baby and be positive that I will carry to full term.

I am not enjoying my pregnancy as much as I should be because I feel I shouldn’t get too excited just in case I miscarry my baby.

How do I deal with this?

I am 8 weeks pregnant and excited. well trying to be. My boyfriend is excited and so is his mother. She just will not let us have a moment to share with eachother. At the time being, he lives 2.5 hours away and i live down here by his mother. This is exciting news and we are want to share it with people, with eachother, let it sink in alittle that we are having a bundle of joy, but she beats us to it. She is already trying to put claim on everything and she is stressing me out. She is the kind of woman who wants to be a friend to her 2 kids and not a mother. I am 24 and have been with him for 5 years. So this is not something new. I know she is excited but it is getting really hard to deal with. Whether we involve her in things or not, she always somehow finds a way in. I just don't know what to do anymore, she just needs to lay off alittle. Can someone please let me know if you ever had problems with your mother-in-law or soon to be mother-in-law? I don't want to be fighting with her.

Here's my story and question in a nutshell. My husband I were trying to conceive and found out in May of this year we were pregnant. Sadly the pregnancy ended in miscarriage in July. What really made it hard was I saw the heartbeat at 7wks. Since my hubby wasn't able to go then, he went along with me at 10wks. He was so excited he was going to see the heartbeat too. Instead we found out the baby had died at 8 wks. We were heartbroken. We are again pregnant, going on week 13 , since I had a miscarriage my Dr. wants me in for a ultrasound every 3wks, and everytime I go, I have not been able to get my husband to go along with me. I again heard the heartbeat alone. I've tried talking to him but he blows me off saying he'll go to the next one, but he acts like he doesn't even care about this baby. I don't know if he's just scared or what. Any ideas on how to get him more involved with this pregnancy? Even the ultrasound pics I bring home aren't working. I feel so alone in this.

My period came on dec the 3 and it was almost gone by the 8th the 8th i had sex wit myb/f the condom broke i was scared i might be pregnant because i herd that days after and b4 your period it wen u get pregnant the easiest on the 13 after i had finished peeing i saw light blood on the tiolet paper and then i pee again and it was some clots but not alot. i want to kno if i could still be pregnant or if i had a misscariage at 6days of pregnancy?

so i went to the hospital hopin for a blood test but they did urine and it also said negative. they said i should wait an take another one but now im so confused. i have all the symptoms of pregnancy, so why are these tests negative? the home test i took couldnt have been wrong becuz it never would have said positive right? and i kno i read it correctly....what should i do?

I am having my second child in early June. When I was pregnant with my son (almost 5 yrs ago) I didn't gain enough weight to need any maternity wear. This time I think I am going to gain a lot more weight, and show a lot differently.
I need tips on a stylish yet frugal and cheap maternity wardrobe. IE- what items did you find you wore a lot, how did you accessorize, how did you still love stylish and sexy? I don't want to end up wearing sweatpants and tshirts constantly!
I am planning on buying maternity clothing at WalMart, and thrift shops... any tips you have would be awesome! Thanks!

My breasts have been sore for over a week now and I just got my blood test back "negative" for being pregnant. Can I still be pregnant? How accurate is the blood test? What else could it be I just had my period on the 24th of November
