A cousin told us that pregnant women are not suppossed to eat goat cheese during pregnancy. I ate it probaly once a month with my last pregnancy and she was stillborn at 22 weeks due to umbilical accident. Also a greek resturant uses goat cheese on there bread sticks where i have ate before pregnancy. Should I avoid eating goat cheese the second time around. I ate it with the chips and on top of some food which was melted.

I have had different views from midwives and pregnancy book on this one. I am 6 months prognant with my first and drink about five cups of regular tea a day. It is my treat to myself as there is quite a lot that I like that I have been advised to give up (soft cheeses, tuna, wine, eggs etc). I friend told me I should be cutting out all caffine ( I don't drink any coffee) and stick to yucky herbal or fruit teas. Is she right? Any horror stories concerning tea!

Any ideas on making the next few weeks past faster.

and I cant stand my boyfriend! He and I have always had the same problem that he is to lazy. I work two full time jobs. I leave the house at 7:20am and dont return till around midnight. I enjoy both of my jobs. But he and his son just wreck my house. I will spend and entire day cleaning and it will be trashed within a day. I try to be nice about it. But now I cant take it. Plus he doesnt think that he should have to clean. That is my job. HELLO!!! He hasnt always been this way either. I am to the point that I would rather be at work then at home. I dont have a sex drive right now and all he does is ask every night. He is more annoying than anything. Then he also has to know how much I make every night. It really is none of his buisness. I told him that if he didnt have a habit of buyin an 8th every day then he would have some money. Should I get rid of him? How? I am to the point of not wanting to try anymore. Because that is all I have done. It has not changed one bit.

I will be almost 7 weeks pregnant on Christmas day. My husband and I thought about telling our families that I am pregnant at Christmas so its a special Christmas.

This will be the first grandchild for both of our families.

I have never been pregnant before, I am in my mid 20's and I got pregnant on the first cycle of trying. I haven't had any bleed or anything to worry about. My doctor said I am healthy and so far the pregnancy is going great.

Should I take the chance and tell our families when I am still very new in my pregnancy?

When did you tell your family about your pregnancy? My mom doesn't even know yet!

I have a 28 day cycle. The first day of my last cycle was 11/18/06.I believe I conceived on 12/03/06, but I am not sure. I have been using the pill for about two years, but started my last cycle while taking an antibiotic that could possibly interfere with its effects.Below are the symptoms I have felt for the last couple of days:
12/06-Strange abdominal twinges
12/07-Extreme bloating of the lower abdomen
12/08-Bloating gone
12/10-Clear discharge w/ 2 blood red steaks / unusual acne rash on forehead and cheeks
12/11-Period like sensation and light pink color in urine when I wipe / Nauseous after dinner followed by heartburn and fatigue
12/12- Nosebleed / Still have heartburn, fatigue and light pink discharge
12/13-Cramps I was certain menses had come, however,I only have very light brown discharge upon wiping

I do not have sensitive breasts, nor have I gained my usual menses weight even though I've been eating more. Period is due 12/16. HPT say -. What does this sound like?

Me and my girlfriend had sex only one time this month. We used a condom and there was no slippage/breakage or any other kind of accident. I even pulled out before I came. In any case, she is a day late (today is day 32) but she is getting cramps like she is going to get her period. I know this may seem gross, but she says that when she goes to the bathroom, it even SMELLS like her period is coming (any other girls know what I'm talking about?).

What are the chances that she is pregnant?

You know those super huge pads that the hospital gives you after you give birth. Is there anywhere i can get those. They just gave them to me there and then i had to use the regular overnight ones which didnt work at all.

I am pregnant with a second child. I had my first baby in Victoria, B.C. and ended up getting a c-section. The hospital was beautiful and the surgeon was really great and I have almost no scarring. The nurses were great too. Now I've had to move to Quebec, and have only heard bad things about the health care system. I am worried about getting a c-section done here or in Ontario. I know that Windsor, ON is bad too. Has anyone had really good experiences in Ontario or Quebec?
