If there is a long way to get to your office, take the long way. if there is an elevator, use the steps. I work in an office also, and whenever I get a break from the desk, I walk around the office. Good luck with everything. With my last pregnancy I didn't walk until I was about 39 weeks trying to induce labor because I was High Risk. I am this time to, but the doctor told me it was okay.

Park farther away, or pace the subway platform. Get off a few stops early on the bus. Go for a walk every day after dinner, or walk in the morning whatever works for you.
I have a dog so it isn't like I can get out of walking to matter how much I work. Just pretend you have a dog.

Go for a walk after work or during lunch. 30 minutes a day is good. Walk the mall or go window shopping or browsing. Just get up and go. I was doing the track at one of the schools before it started getting too dark. Now I'm just being lazy...shame on me. But I'm getting so large now that it starts to really hurt my back and I get crampy after about 15 minutes. So I figure my body is telling me something. Just be sure that you are hydrated and have a snack handy incase your sugar drops.

I bought a vhs (Pregnancy Buns of Steel) at Hastings (movies, games and book store) on sale I opened it and have never put it in the VCR but you know I bet those would work. I'm not much for exercise. I keep telling myself after this baby comes I'm joining a gym (like Curves). But its very doubtful.

What I do is
I have a 3lb weight by my desk and exercise my arms almost everyday, of course resting on my elbow, ask your doctor if it safe for you, then when I get home after I eat dinner, I put some slow music and start moving my body, my neck, my arms, my legs, little bit of streching. It helps.

Park farther from the door when you arrive at work or go shopping.
If your building has stairs, walk up and down them on your break/lunch.
If you like to shop, stop by the mall after work and walk a couple laps or so.
congrats on the baby.

i am in the same situation, it's really hard to go walking or anything because it's dark by the time i'm home and eat dinner.
i do prennatal yoga sometimes, and i volunteer to walk the mail out of the building across the big parking lot a couple of times a day.

I read in the book, "The doctors book of home remedies" that if you can lay on your left side for a few hours a day, or at night even, it will decrease the potential of hemorrhoids, because it lets the vein drain. If you can lie down on your lunch break, that may help too, especially when you get further in your pregnancy. Good luck!

I didn't exercise at all for my 1st pregnancy and boy do I regret that, My labor was intense and very hard. I heard if you at least walk regularly it will get you ready for the job of labor.
