Water can come after contractions. Sounds like labour. Sometimes it takes a REALLY LONG time. That's why they say to go to the hospital when they're 3 or so minutes apart, because they know your body can be progressing for hours and hours. Here's the real test: is your mind getting fuzzier and fuzzier? Somehow the body releases like mind-fuzzing hormones in labor. I joked that it's so you don't remember how unpleasant it is (I joke because childbirth isn't that bad-I've had 3). But it's true that your focus goes and you become more uncertain when in labor.

Call your doctor, you can have contraction over 24 -36 hours, when you pee and wipe is there blood on the paper? If so, the baby will be there within 24 hours. Your water might not break at all, sometimes even during 1 min, apart labor it needs to be broken. If you're worried call the doc.
All the best to you.

Sounds normal to me, especially since they seem to be getting closer together. Once your contractions are 5 minutes or less apart you can head to the doctors office. Any many women are in labor without their water breaking. It will eventually do it as the time gets closer, or the doctor may break it to speed things up a bit. Good luck, you are getting close!!

Drink a quart of water and lay down. Sometimes false labor is brought on by dehydration. If its false labor, the contractions will slow down over the next 30 minutes or totally stop.

hi. it definitely sounds like you are in labour. the fact that they are consistent and getting closer makes it true labor and not braxton hicks. give your doctor a call and head over to the hospital. keep walking as much as you can it will help move it along.
good luck

It is a very definite posibility you are in actual labor. Each woman is different and labor can last for even a few days. It think it would be best to go to your doctor to make sure because your baby could be in distress.

from what i understand true labor is when time between cx are regular (meaning every eight min, not eight now then ten another time then 20 another time.) If they are regular and consistent in pain you should call your ob or go to the hosp they are the only ones who will know for sure. good luck.

7 min apart ... sounds like they are getting closer ... you should head over to the hospital if they haven't stopped by now and they are getting closer together ... chances are more than likely baby is on da way. Good luck

Yes, it sounds like you are in labor. Yes, what you are experiencing is normal. Your water may not break at any time or not until you are pushing. good luck!
