I DO! Breastfeeding can be very difficult at first but it is soo worth it. You will create a bond with your child that lasts a lifetime! If u have any problems call a lactation consultant, there should be some at the hospital. Ask for their card before you are discharged b/c lots of problems can come up. BUT YOU CAN DO IT!

If I'm able to breast feed I'm definitely going to. I hear that sometimes babies won't latch on at first but to try again. I feel like it would be a help financially and promote a strong bonding relationship between the baby and I. I won't say that it's any healthier than bottle feeding because I hear formula is just as good for your child. But if by any chance Breastfeeding is healthier and my baby will come out to be the next einstein then I have that advantage as well!

I breastfed my first two (13 months and 14 months). It was great!

I'm pregnant again and absolutely planning on breastfeeding this one. It is such a wonderful experience and I think it makes things easier.

You never have to worry about making sure the milk is the right temperature or anything like that. And I just enjoy the closeness.

I am not pregnant at the moment, but I like to weigh in on breastfeeding. I breast fed all three and there was a lot of pressure not to. Nobody made it easy. Hospital kept trying to feed my newborn formula, I got free cases of it, free coupons for it, had trouble finding a way to pump at work, etc...

it is well worth it. Don't let anything stop you.

One more thing to consider--it does inflate and deflate your breasts and they will never look the same, but honestly, their function is to feed babies. It's a trade off.

My son was a preemie and on a feeding tube and for the 10 weeks he was in the hospital I pumped milk for the nurses to put in his tube. I had to switch to formula when he came home, but he is now a completely healthy, normal, VERY active 2 year-old. I wsa pregnant again this year and due this Sunday, but unfortunately I lost my baby girl at 21 weeks. I was planning on pumping milk again. Trying again this Spring and plan on pumping for the next baby.

I'm not preggy, just trying to be. I breastfed all 3 of my children and plan to do it with the next baby.

I did with my daughter, but for me it was very painful. I ended up stopping after 5 weeks, because she was not gaining enough weight and we were both miserable. That said, I am pregnant with my second child now and I am going to try it again. Even if it only lasts for a short period of time like it was with my daughter. I feel even that short span of time was worth it, and no matter how hard it was for me, this baby deserves a chance to be breastfed, too.

im 10wks so quite a way to go, but i would like to try it at least. Sometime the situation doesn't allow it as an option ... so there's always plan b (that pricey formula) but I will try my best to breast feed ... after all its healthy for baby, its free, and its "Mommy & me" time. Babies do grow up crazy fast so enjoy them as much as you can while they're little. Good luck all you mama's to be

I would like to give it a go. I kinda see it as your body makes the food for the baby for a reason, it has everything the baby needs. In saying that however, I am not going to be devestated if i cant for whatever reason

Congrats I really hope you do and can breastfeed. I really wanted to but due to my C-section I lost a lot of blood. Then had to have a blood transfusion and was very sick and weak for a good week. So I wasn't able to. I sure did try though but it was hard for me and my baby was hungry! But again I hope you really are able to. I envy those who were able to do so.
