My breasts have been sore for over a week now and I just got my blood test back "negative" for being pregnant. Can I still be pregnant? How accurate is the blood test? What else could it be I just had my period on the 24th of November

Blood test are the most accurate pregnancy test there is. If you are still unsure that it was accurate, go back and have it done again in 5 days or so. A positive test will come back when you are 4 or 5 days pregnant. I know b/c i had one done.

Umm well a blood test is VERY accurate and if you were preg you would have ovulated on Dec 8 so when did you have the test done? it is only the 13 so if you were you would show no signs until maybe at most today or in a few days ( it takes 3-7 days to implant) So I think your boobs are just having a growth spurt!!

PS - a blood test can tell if you are anywhere from around a few days after implantation which is still way sooner than a normal test but if you did have one done I would not consider it accurate if it was taken sooner than the 11 of this month.

blood tests are extremely accurate because they test the amt of hcg in the blood (a hormone only produced during pregnancy.) if the value is zero there is absolutly no chance you are preg. Some symptoms of pms can be present any time between ovulation and menstruation.
You can ovulate at any time during the cycle, even while you are on your period, and then 12-14 days later is the start of the next cycle. You may have just ovulated early this cycle and aunt flo will be stopping by sooner than expected. It seems you've been in touch with a dr since you had a "beta" test. If there were anything else of concern he/she would know.

The result of the blood pregnancy tests are 100% secure but after the 5th day after the relation, in that day you can know if you are pregnant or not. Usually that feelings are only suggestion, i felt similar things untill i saw the negative result of the test. Good luck and take care! ;)

You boobs could be sore because your period might be coming up. Mine get sore a week before my period, and they haven't always done that. Just one day they started to. I would wait a couple of weeks before getting worried. Then take another pregnancy test, since technically I don't think you are late enough for a at home pregnancy test to work.

i don't think your pregnant.. blood tests are pretty accurate although in some cases mistakes do happen.. false negatives, false postives.. although i'm sure they double check and there are a lot of controls in place to check the accuracy of the tests being done

id wait the next couple of weeks.. and i bet you'll get your period again around xmas time.. and not pregnant..

blood tests are extremely accurate. Stress can cause your period to be late and there for cause the other PMS symptoms to change when they happen.
