No. It only means you are 36, 37, 38, 39, 40, 41, 42 or 43 weeks pregnant. No sane doctor would let you go past 43 weeks. I was HUMONGOUSLY pregnant, felt like I couldn't take a step wider than 10 inches without pulling something (although I walked a lot) ... I had to pee every 3 minutes (!!!) and NEVER dilated more than 1 centimeter for 4 weeks. I had a c-section to deliver a 10 pound, 9 ounce girl at 41 weeks. Labor is near when you dilate, have possibly lost your water and the baby starts to move down into the birth canal. It sounds so simple and it is but people look for signs that may never ever ever mean a thing. The babies come when they wanna. Bless you with a good birth and a happy baby!!! Yay!

Well your pubic bone hurts most likely because the baby dropped and the same for having to pee. But that doesn't mean labor will happen any minute. It means yes you are on your way but it could still be weeks.

36 weeks is still considered pre term so for your babys safety you don't want to go into labor yet.

I was dialated to five and didn't go into labor on my own. I was dialated for weeks and nothing. The baby comes when the babys ready...

I felt like that for the last 7 or 8 weeks of the pregnancy, it started for me about 34 weeks. I was mega excited as i thought The baby must have been coming in the next week or so, but I had to be induced two weeks after my due date!! (42 1/2 weeks)
Its just your pelvis adjusting itself, and the pressure of your baby moving lower in your pelvis. There is a hormone present at this stage of pregnancy that allows your ligaments and tendons to relax, making it easier for your bubba to travel down the birth canal. It can make all your joints feel weak or sore, my wrists and ankles used to hurt as well.
Needing to wee all the time is just your bubbas head squishing your bladder. Keep drinking lots of water there is nothing worse than feeling like you need to go wee, but there is nothing to wee out! Gross I know sorry,

Be kind to yourself rest, put your feet up and do as little as possible!! Nice luke warm baths,(not hot!!), and gentle massage from hubby will help. Make the most of your time now, you wont have much time to yourself to sit and relax when your beautiful bubba arrives!!!
Enjoy your little bubba best wishes

I don't think labor is too far away! BUT, you could still go another three or four weeks like that unfortunately. It just gets REAL miserable towards the end, but all worth it!

Good luck!

your pelvis sounds like it is getting ready for delivery, this can happens weeks before, but sounds like it could be close. and as far as peeing alot, baby is probably "dropping" and putting even more pressure on your bladder. good luck.

i'm an er nurse and curiously like a uti yet would desire to o.k. be something else. you would be able to desire to first tell your mum and dad then pass from there. no longer attempting to scare you, yet you won't be able to tell by using in simple terms listening to the syptoms. wish this facilitates!
