Could I be pregnant?

Question

I had my period last week and it came on the same time as always.But it only lasted for 3 days =O.Usually it last for about 5 to 6 days.What do you think it is? Could I be pregnant or is it just nothing to worry about.I was taking medicine for a UTI before I started.Do you think that medicine may have caused it to be so short?please someone answer this.

I know know one can tell me for sure.But I was just needing some advice and to know what to expect when I do take a test.Thanks guys.

No, honey it doesn't sound like you are pregnant ... if you had a UTI, your hormones may have been different which would cause your uterus to behave differently thus causing you a shorter period.

Your t-shirt comes with a drug store bought pregnancy test. Would you like a Clear Blue Easy, an E.P.T. a CVS/pharmacy brand or Walgreens brand?

I get nasty UTIs all the time.

I'd skip periods all the time with the medicines doctors gave me for them! Now I take cranberry capsules and bathe in vinegar water instead, as soon as I feel it coming on.

Once, before I figured out the thing about cranberry and vinegar, I got a HORRIBLE urinary tract infection. They actually admitted me to the hospital because I was so dehydrated from forcing myself to pee every 5 minutes (I hate that feeling!). Anyway, they gave me two different meds and I didn't get a period for the next two months!

If it was like your regular periods except for being short, it was probably the UTI meds. I hate them.

I trust kk. A little is all it takes. Always use precautions for the period of intercourse. She might be at the tablet, the beginning manage patch, and different birth control. And you can use condoms at any time when. Even if she makes use of birth control, it's not one hundred%. Nothing is, besides now not doing it in any respect. Condoms will no less than upload to the defense and also will deal with many STI's as good. No extra unprotected intercourse, except you and your spouse/existence associate are seeking to have a youngster!

Well yes, Because i had my period on time and it was normal. Then about 2 weeks later i had a norther period. I did not think anything about it. Then i went to the take a test and i found out that i was 7 weeks pregnant.. So yes you should get checked out Just to be safe. It could mean that your pregnant..

Going to the doctor is a sure way to find out.

If you notice any unusual feelings or signs don't hesitate to seek medical attetion. It will also set your mind at ease and let you know what is going on.

Seeing a medical professional is hard to do but sometimes that is the only way to get the real results and feel better.

Well..if the medicine was an antibiotic they can make BC pills loose effectiveness if you take those. If you don't get a period or it is short next mo I'd get a preg test to make sure.

If it was normal like your other periods, as far as heaviness and color, then I would say you aren't pregnant. Some meds do affect your periods. As I tell everyone else who asks this question, if you are that curious, just take a test. Good luck!

I doubt you are pregnant, I use to get my period for 5 days now I only get it for 3 it could be the meds change in hormones anything

Well I started my first period and it lasted three days ,but I wasn't taking anything so I asked my Dr. he said it was normal for me. Ask your Dr. to see if it was normal ,but as for the medicine I do not know. thanks for the two points and happy holidays.:)

Have you had sex? Then yes you could be pregnant.

Nobody here can tell you if you're pregnant! Take a test!
