question about implantation bleeding...?

how does implantation bleeding differ from a period?

It is nothing like a period. I had it with 2 of my pregnancies and I noticed a little blood when I went to the bathroom once and that was it. No blood every again. Found out that same day with both of them that I was pregnant.

It is light spotting. Not a heavy period

implantation is pink or brown in color and is very light(spotting) and short from a period.
