Pregnancy - November 2006

so i am 6 weeks pregnant and started spotting with a little brown blood. i have had little cramps but nothing 2 bad. my gyn told me 2 stay off my feet and i needed an ultrasound. i just got home from it and although im 6 weeks pregnant only 5 weeks was showing. they said they saw no heartbeat but they were a little confused about the dates. I need to go back in 7-14 days for another ultrasound. they told me either the baby is growing slow or it just stopped growing at the 5 weeks period.. i am really upset and was wondering if this ever happened to anybody else....i would like 2 know if the baby survived? i have been reading a lot online and im really scared but they said the sac is still their showing a miscarriage hasn't taken place YET* please help!

my period is always the last week of the month, and even tho i never count the 28 days or write down when i start or any of that- i know i need to so dont tell me that! lol! Anyway how do you know when you are ovulating? My friend found out from the doctor that she had gotten pregnant the day right after her period i didnt realize it could be that soon, so can any of you help me?

I have given my 6 week puppy a bath using flea shampoo, and somebody told me that is harmful to use while i'm pregnant. I didn't really think this was true... has anyone heard of this?

ok heres the deal,i am pregnant but i cant see a doc until my medicaid kicks in, so these websites about parenting are confusing me......i got pregnant oct 20th ok found out i was pregnant sat11th...my period is not regular so i dont know what is my cycle length.....should i just wait so when i go to the doctor....but its killing me not to know how pregnant i am.......

It is sad to see these babies come into this world addicted ,with very slight chances of leading a healthy , family, oriented life! I believe freedom comes with responsability, and one can not bring into our lifes ,a precious child that will be destroyed one way or another!Iam not for abortion , but to draw a line- not getting pregnant , a pill, a patch, whatever works for these women not to get pregnant! I have sen the results of these babies, their strugles, their fall, the indeference of goverment to take action. Speak up!

Okay here is my situation and question on Saturday I am going in for an ultrasound I am between 20 to 22 weeks. I am 5 foot 2 and weighed 160 when I got pregnant I have only gained 4.5 lbs. My question is with no more weight than that and I am not showing much. Do you think they baby is growing right? Will they tell me what the baby is measuring. please tell me your stories if anything is similiar.

I have read you should not have hot baths ..and if Im craving for anything its a very hot bath(I always have the water boiling).Should i avoid a soak or is it all made up?Im just worried in case hot water affects the baby.Thanks Guys!

What exactly should I be feeling at the moment? I'm scared to do anything and at the first sign of pain I freak out... I'm not sure what symptoms I should have.. what is normal.. what isn't normal.. any other mommys in my situation? The doctor just laughs at me and tells me everything is normal.. still I want to know what everyone else is going through.

His mother takes drugs and although me and the father have split now we still get on but Im worried that he will want to take the baby to visit her, or take the baby to his house. Im happy for them to see the baby as long as I am there, but I have already had his mother coming to my house shouting and swearing at me when I was 25 weeks pregnant. I still get along with the father and don't know how to tell him that I can't trust him with the baby because he is an alcoholic. I don't want my baby to be surrounded by these sort of people but he is still the dad.

Hi, I am really worried to use my laptop.. I generally keep it very close to my abdomen(I mean the keyboard touches my abdomen when I use it).. Does it cause any pregnancy complications like birth defects and miscarriages? I heard that harmful radiations can cause the baby to have birth defects.Does laptop emit any such harmful radiations? please help!

I asked if anyone has actually had one. Someone asked what it was. Its when the baby is full term and the baby is delivered vaginally and as soon as the head appears,they stick scissors thru his/her skull and then pull the baby out and leave it to die by suffocation. Someone else said someone had it done she knew. Why would anybody wait so long? Im pro life anyway but full term? Thats twisted!

although work is near by and dont run for more 4minutes is it safe for thr baby? I'll to have get out just that little bit extra..but im worried incase it effects the baby?Thanks

My last period was 10/28-11/01. On 11/12 I bled a dull red color. I thought i was starting my period, but i knew it was too early. then the next day nothing came out. I know i'm not due for a period for another week or so, but could this be implantation bleeding? My husband and i Have ben trying for a couple months now, and this never happened. Would it be too early to take a test?
