Books will tell you 14-16 weeks, the development of the sexual organs. But knowing will be up to you. You can order a CVS test or an ultrasound test. Depending on the baby the Tech could tell you. Note, at this stage, little one is moving for the first time and you might not find out for sure. Baby has alot of free space to move around, I didnt know the sex of my son until I was 35 weeks, less space to move about and the Tech could get a clear look

usually 15 weeks, by 14 weeks some very good doctors or techs can see enough to tell. But since both genders look so similar that early on, 18-20 weeks is the best time to get an accurate view.

Usually 20 weeks is when you will have an ultrasound and they can see (unless checking for problems or high risk pregnancy). I do know some women found out about 14-15 weeks though, so it depends on you and when the ultrasound is.

At 3 months, the gender is unclear. Doctors can detect the gender of a unborn child at 4 months or the second ultrasound. I just had my first ultrasound and i am three months and like a couple of days along.

I have a friend whose girlfriend is a tech who does ultrasounds. She says usually 18 weeks is when it becomes easiest to tell. You can tell beforehand sometimes, but they're a little more developed at 18 w.
