I've read before that when women are pregnant their discharge changes right around the beginning of pregnancy. Is this true?

Yes, the discharge is mainly mucus, it gets thinner with ovulation and thicker at other times. When you get pregnant, there will be less if any at all of it because the cervix and the uterus are preparing for a nine month work out of growing a baby.

For some women. The smell, thickness, and amount changes for just about all women as the hormones in the body change through pregnancy.

But its not a good way for finding out if you're pregnant or not. Your discharge can change naturally anytime, even when not pregnant.

Yes, it's true. The amount increases and this lasts for the duration of the pregnancy.

It did for me. It became more thick and white. Kinda gross, but it goes along with it, I guess.
