It is sad to see these babies come into this world addicted ,with very slight chances of leading a healthy , family, oriented life! I believe freedom comes with responsability, and one can not bring into our lifes ,a precious child that will be destroyed one way or another!Iam not for abortion , but to draw a line- not getting pregnant , a pill, a patch, whatever works for these women not to get pregnant! I have sen the results of these babies, their strugles, their fall, the indeference of goverment to take action. Speak up!

where i live they do drug testing at the hospital when the baby is born(on the baby). if the baby tests positive for drugs they take the baby away until the nother can prove that she is drug free. they usually test every couple weeks for like 3 or four months. my mother in law works at the hospital and she said she has seen many babies get taken from the mother.it's sad and unfair for the babies but atleast it gives them a chance at a healthy life!

My husband and I are currently reasearching adoption and we were saddened and shocked to discover the amount of drug addicted babies that there are out there in the US, in need of a good home. It's so sad! There are so many of these unwanted babies, that by choosing to care for one of them, the process of adoption is moved along much quicker than a typical baby adoption. It sucks that these babies have to suffer because of someone elses bad choices.

um, are u talking about cocaine or heroin and street drugs or epidurals?????

if so.. its just a friggin pain med.. it doesnt do anything. lots of women have them...

if ur talking about street drugs, there really isnt anything anyone can do. except pray that these woman will use protection or not have sex, but its called prostitution and that will never stop unless there;s no more drugs made

I agree with you 100% but giving them pills or patches does not mean they will use them. Maybe the shot would work!
