Pregnancy - August 2006

I have been told I have a "pre-cancer condition" outside my vagina and in the vulva area. I had this same condition years ago, all over my cervix, and have had most of my cervix removed. I just went to a specialist last month at the Women's Cancer Center and the doctor said it was much more extensive than he thought. He did not do a biopsy right then because he said there was nothing he could do about it at that time, until after the baby (due 12-20). I have to go back in November just to see if it has spread.

Of course this is a HUGE concern, on top of the high-risk pregnancy, but what makes it worse is that he said there are a few options I have once the baby is born. I asked him what the options are and he said there was no need to get stressed or worked up and we would talk about it after December.

God, what could he have meant. I have been searching the internet but don't find much because I don't know exactly what I'm looking for! I am TRYING to be positive but I just wish he wouldnt have said anything at all. I just to VENT I guess!!!

My wife has had her navel pierced for 3 years, she has never taken it out.

I have heard of using fishing line, does that work?

I know that some of you may find this very wierd, but PLEASE no insulting comments. I am a single mother of 3 boys (ages 14, 12, 1), pregnant with 4th, and planning on many more. I am 36 weeks pregnant, getting very big.
On sunday, my 2nd son went to his friends home on a sleepover. My eldest sons friends family was coming over for dinner. I worked 7 hours nonstop preparing a meal for them, and finished 10 mins before they arrived. It was when they arrived that I realized that I forgot to breastfeed my 1 year old! I ran from the dinner table to get him and I had to feed him immediately! I realized that I had to do it at the dinner table, because neither my guests nor my baby could be left alone. So I ruefully took off my shirt and breastfed him, revealing my sore, naked breasts & my very pregnant belly. After that, my son's friend's father said "This food is disgusting. I feel like throwing up!"!! I just suddenly started to weep, and ran away. My son wont talk to me... what do i do?!

has anyone had implantion bleeding if so did it look very light and only last for a couple of days and also did you cramp in your pelvic area just before the spotting.I have pcos and my periods are irregular but i am tring to conceive.

Here's my situation? I just left the doctor from having a vaginal ultrasound and she showed me the uterus and yolk sac but no baby according to my lmp i would be about 6 weeks and 4 days pregnant 4 weeks gestation i have not had any bleeding nor cramping have any one had this experience not seeing a baby at this stage but went back a week later and saw a baby please help this will be my 3rd pregnancy but with one beautiful daughter i am about to loose my mind?

If i've been standing for 5 minutes or more I have a dull ache and heavy feeling in my lower area. It is causing me so much bother because it kills just to walk to my shops.

This is my second child and didn't have this before. Someone said my bump is quite low and may need a sling because its something to do with my pelvic muscles, but this sounds a bit too much.

I do have midwife in the next couple of days, so obv i'll ask her, but I wanted to ask now

the first day of my last day of my period was july 10 and saturday i started bleeding a little bit but not heavy for the past two weeks or so i have had crapms in my stomache i dont know whats wrong with me my boyfired has ejaculated in me about five times in the past month i am going to the doctors today but i am so stressed out that i want to know if anyone has any ideas before i go. thanks

Like you're going to get your period, but it's not that close yet, and you have those type of cramps. Does that happen? (Not real bad cramps, jut an overall cramp feeling)

I am 36.5 weeks pregnant. I am going to be taken early because my baby is big due to gestional diabetes. I just dont know how early. I will be full term thursday, and I saw the dr today. When I had my exam, it really hurt. I think he tried to strip my membranes, but I am not sure. When he examined me, it was painful on the right side and then he moved to the left and it didnt hurt like it did the first. When I was preg with my first, I think he did the same thing, and sent me to L&D right after he examined me to be induced. He wants to see me friday, hopefully for induction. But I feel crampy now. I am not dialated but I am really soft and thinning out. Anyone have membranes stripped? And if so, what did it feel like and how long did it take to go into labor after words. And were you dialated when they were stripped?

My girl and I found out a few weeks ago that she is pregnant. I am 24 and she is 21. She is scared to death of telling her family and them all disowning her or kicking her out. To be honest with you, they are very ignorant people. Her mom always gives her crap about everything and her dad considers her to be the baby of the family since she has an older sister that is 22. We already know that her sister is gonna be retarded about the whole thing. On top of everything, her family hates me with a passion already! We're both worried about what to do. We just wanna tell them and get it over with. Her dad is the "Over protective Italian dad type from Brooklyn". Im kinda a bit scared for my life. The biggest thing that upsets her besides possible losing her family is breaking her dad's heart...How can we tell them?

I think I might be pregnant. I feel pregnant. I know what it feels like because I've been pregnant twice already. My period is a day late and I've been suspecting that I've been pregnant for quite a while. About a week ago I got the mumps and my doctor gave me a steroid shot to make the swelling go down. I've taken four pregnancy tests and they've all come up negative. Is it possible that the steroid shot could be effecting the results of my home pregnancy tests. I wouldn't have wasted so much money on tests but I just have a feeling that I am pregnant.

ok so i have had an abnormal period for almost a year now. my husband and i had sex for the first time ever 3 weeks ago and have not used any form of contraception. i am urinating more frequently, have increased appetite, lower abdominal swelling and mood swings but no breast tenderness or sickness, the ept test responded negative...but due to not having a period in 13 months, i cannot know for sure if i have missed one.

I know the baby's fine, we had our ultrasound last wed., and he moves A LOT. But I'm 21wks now and you wouldn't be able to tell I'm pregnant??? My husband and I can see a difference, but I don't have the PREGNANCY belly. I do have a longer mid-section and am 5'6" tall. But, I wondering if my uterus has enough room in it without my belly being big? This is my first pregnancy too. The doc said my uterus is where it should be, but I feel I should also be getting a stomach at this point? Should I call the doc again about this? Or does that sound like a crazy woman? I don't want to be huge, just look like I'm half way pregnant without people looking at me like I'm a liar!!!! Thanks!!
