Yes, it is a possibility. If you are uncertain I would definitely make a doctors appointment. Good Luck.:)

Yes, some women do have period-like discharge while they are pregnant, but it can also be a sign of miscarriage. Talk to your doctor so you can stop worrying. And remember the only 100% way to make sure you don't get pregnant is to not have sex; my husband and I got pregnant with three different children using 3 different methods of birth control. I was on the pill for the first, used condoms for the second and got pregnant with the third while I was still nursing my second. I've since had my tubes tied, but you sound too young to consider sterilization, and even that is not 100%

Pregnancy and periods can never go along simultaneously. If a woman is indeed pregnant, technically, she cannot get her periods. Missing a period is actually the first sign of pregnancy. Bleeding in early pregnancy is a common occurrence, but this does not signal a true menstrual cycle. The hormones that are active during pregnancy totally prevent ovulation. Ovulation is the time in a woman's cycle when the egg is released into the uterus and women experience menstrual bleeding. Since the egg in pregnant women is already fertilized, ovulation does not occur and hence no bleeding.

It is still possible if you only bleed a little, woman can still have a so called "period" when the baby first attaches to the uterus.
But it could also be a miscarriage if you knew you were pregnant for sure, just not a good thing if it is a lot of blood.

Yes, sometimes women will have their cycle throughout their entire prenancy-your best bet is to see how you feel in the days to come and take a test in the morning (that's when your hormones are hightest) and see. Go to the doc if you still have worries or ?'s.
