Absolutely normal, though annoying. Your pelvis starts to stretch; all the cartilidge in your joints becomes way more flexible in order to allow the baby through. You might notice popping too. That's all normal! For now, take it easy! Move slowly from lying to sitting, sitting to standing, etc. You just have a few more weeks to go, you can do it!

The baby is starting to move into position for its journey out into the world. The pressure is starting to move to the hip bones and pelvic bone. I had my pain in the hips and the "butt" bone. I found that if you can lean against a counter top, etc. and spread your legs a little bit and just rock from side to side it really helped me. And as strange as it seems, another thing I learned that helped alot was to sit on the toilet. Something about the way the body sits in that position is a great relief on the joints. Especially helpful during labor!! Good luck and congrats.

This is totally normal for your hip & pubic bones to hurt. This is your body's way of getting ready to deliver the baby. Also you are probably carring the baby low and there are alot of nerves/vessels that he/she (;o) might be laying on since it has grown. I experience this at the end of both of my pregancies and I can truely appreciate this question!! I wish you the best in the following weeks of your pregancy and delivery for a healthy baby! Good Luck!!!

Your bones are spreading in preparation for birth. You want this to happen so you can deliver more easily and not end up with a c-section. To help this along you can spend some time in a squatting position. This encourages you bones to spread more easliy.
You might also just be feeling the effects of all of the baby/pregnancy weight.

Yep. Everything hurts, doesn't it?
Unfortunetly, this is a common pregnancy side effect. Your body is producing a hormone called relaxin and it's causing all your joints to relax and that's what's hurting you. But it's going to make labor easier, so for now, we just have to deal with it.
But it will be all over soon. Don't worry.

Yes, its due to your hips softening up ready for your baby to be born. This is due to a hormone called relaxin being produced...You can take paracetamol to ease the pain, that is if you are not allergic to it of course. Otherwise if it is hurting you real bad, see your doctor and he or she will advise you on any form of pain relief!
All the best! xxx

Yes, this is caused by the increasing pressure from the baby and the hormone "relaxin" which causes your joints to soften in preparation for the baby's birth.
