and breastfeeding. People automatically assume because I dont breastfeed that I chose to do it out of "selfishness" and i put my baby in a crib because I dont want to be "attached". Whatever happened to people supporting each other as parents, appreciating their differences, and realizing we're all just trying to raise happy, wel-adjusted, healthy kids in a way that is best for each one of us. I planned on breastfeeding and didnt produce milk because of previous surgery, I was devasted. On top of that my daughter had severe jaundice and they made me start supplementing with formula in the hospital while I was trying to breastfeed.

Do you know how it feels as a mother to have the so-called 'breastfeeding natzis' imply I dont want the best for my child or that I'm lazy!?! Why cant we just help others with similar rearing techniques and not use this as a forum to spew propaganda that makes you better than me or any other mom you do not agree with?

Hi, tomorrow I am going around town 2 put up flyers about my Open House this Sat 4 selling Discovery Toys which R EXCELLENT toys. This may sound "rude", but where do parents frequent that I could put them up, I'm a grandma now, & have forgotten, but also where would grandma's see it too ? Also, Dr's & lawyers wives R often interested in these so where might they frequent that I might not think of. I live in a smallish town in So OR where we have these levels of people: 1). MANY folks are minimum wage as we lost R timber industry ..2). new & plentiful retirees with financial resources who would buy 4 grand kids, 3). & our professional people who could afford them. I am a recently retired elem teacher & have lived here 4, 32 years. So I have a good reputation for ed. stuff & also am the only person selling these within 200 miles of me. I have a web site which is on the catalogs & my other contact info, what I'm really looking for is ideas to put flyers and ways to contact.

im 3 1/2 months pregnant and not showing yet but i was wondering if there were any ways people knew of to keep your stomach small during pregnancy like wrapping it or anything? im only 5'0 ft 110 lbs and im trying to keep it as small as possible since im petite, also if anyone knows of ways to prevent stretch marks b/c im native american and we are known to get terrible stretch marks :(

When did you know/find out you were pregnant?
Did you know soon after conception?
Did you know after you missed your period?
Did you know even later than that?

Note: I am not trying to concieve myself. I am just interested in other people's stories. It'll give me information for when I do decided to have children. Thank You.

Im starting to get really worried, i just hit 28 weeks, i went into labor with my first at 32 weeks, and i had my second at 36 weeks, so i feel like im really getting close!?!?!? How much does the baby weigh at this point? and would i be considered in my 7th month and third trimester? Anyone deliver a healthy baby between 28-30 weeks? Thanks!!!!

I'm going thru a debate w/i myself about whether or not to have a 3rd child. I've had MANY issues trying to find a method of birth control that'll work and the only one I know will work is abstinence, but my husband has an issue w/ that one! We're not financially ready to have a 3rd one and I'm afraid that by the time I AM ready, I'll be too old. (I really don't want to be in my 30's and having a baby. Ugh!) I'm 27 now, so we've only got a few years to decide, but I'm torn. I can't find a birth control that works for me (I forget to take the pills; the patch causes me painful cysts; the depo shot caused me to bleed for 1 1/2 yrs after having my 1st child, etc.) and I feel that if I get my tubes tied, I'll always wonder if I made the right decision. My in-laws would love nothing more than for us to have another baby, but my 2nd child has been so draining on me mentally, emtionally and physically that I'm not sure if I can handle another. Any opinions would be appreciated! Thanks!

took pregnancy test about a month ago. One line was dark and the other was light. I didnt think anything of it. I soon became bloated, my breasts are bigger and sore when I push on them, Im peeing like almost every 2 hrs, I get dizzy if I dont eat anything, Im very emotional (the slightest thing could have me in tears), I dont feel like doing anything, I seem to have a sensitive nose now, and my stomach gets upset sometimes. I took two answer pregnancy tests but they both came back negative. Im still peeing alot and and everything is still happening. Do you think Im pregnant? As far as my period. I have irregular periods. They never come every 30 days so I cant go by that.

On top of that, yesterday I was having these really bad pains in my stomach. They were so awful that I could barely walk. I ate something and they went away. Turns out I was just hungry. Does this sound like Im pregnant? I never experienced that before.

I am 3 months pregnant and the father of the baby, so far, has been really two-faced. When I'm around he's a good person, but when I'm not around he's completely different. He's been drinking a lot and from what I hear he's still doing the drugs he says he quit. He does have quite a bit of parfinelia. People are now saying he's shooting it up and I really don't believe that but I don't know what to believe anymore because he has lied to me a lot. If he's going to be on drugs and constantly drinking then I do not want him around my child. I would like to get the law involved but I have to have proof. How can I prove that he has "stuff" in his possession? I've tried talking to him and the police and it doesnt do any good. I'm getting quite desperate. Thank you.

We're about to get our children's pictures taken. My son 6m will wear a white polo bodysuit, khaki slacks, blue and brown thin strip blazer, with brown shoes. My daughter 4y will wear white dress with yellow and blue flowers, white tights, and white ballet looking shoes. I'm wondering what type of poses would be good for them? What color or types of backgrounds? and How should we fix our daughter's hair. She has med brown, very curly, shoulder length hair. It's not nappy though.

My first husband passed away at the age of 24. At the time my daughter was a year old. Now she is almost 10 and I have made her this beautiful scrapbook of him. I want to give it to her when she's older but I need to finish the cover. I ran out of ideas for the outside of the book. He was from Argentina and loved horses and motercycles. These ideas don't necessarily have to be in the theme...but just to give you an idea of some things he enjoyed. Any ideas for the covor of this book?
