If I Had Sex on September 18, 2006 And Started My Period on September 20, 2006...And I Didnt Have Sex In October, And I Also Had My Period In October 14, 2006....Can I still be Pregnant or no???

October Was My Last Period, But I had Sex On November 4, 2006.....And I Know That I'm Pregnant, But I Just Want To Know,

When Did I Get Pregnant......???????

SO I WANT TO KNOW, HOW MANY WKS WILL I BE???
AND WHY THEY COUNT FROM MY LAST PERIOD, IF I GOT PREGNANT IN NOVEMBER??????

its is still likely for you to get your period when you are pregnant, so you could have conceived on the 18th Sept or on the 4th Nov, thats a 1.5 month gap so to doc would be able to tell you which date is more likely due to the baby's size.

from the date of your LAST period--oct. 14, 2006---going back three months: due approx Aug 14 of this year.

your doctor or the nurse should be able to explain the details. I know it can be confusing. This is how i figured mine.

what they use to determine your due date is called nagele's rule, what they do is take your LMP and subtract 3 months and add 7 days. this method is give or take a few weeks. they give you a 40 week due date because babies are born anywhere from 38-42 weeks which leaves the two week margin for error. so yes i would say you conceived on nov. 4th.

If gestation is in question, it can only be answered in an ultrasound, which you should have had by now, sitting at about 5 months pregnant.

Why has your doctor not answered this for you and given you your estimated due date?
