My daughter is turning two, and we're having her party at Chuck E. Cheese's and paying $10.99 plus tax per child. I am inviting all of the kids in her preschool class where I work (11 kids total) plus some friends and family. The problem is that many of these kids have siblings, and while I don't mind them coming (the more the merrier!), I don't want to pay for all of them. Is there a nice way to say this on the invitation? Should I assume that people would expect me to pay for the extra kids? We are really stretching our budget as it is, and an extra 4 or 5 kids might really mess us up...

I want to be in my little girl's life but the woman who said the child is mine is now acting like she wants me to have nothing to do wit the my daughter's life. She told me when I was deployed to Iraq and now since I'm home I feel like we should get the ball rolling to get the DNA test, but she keeps making excuses. I am losing sleep over this.

Lately these past two weeks I have been feeling sick I am sexually active.. but my symptoms are consisting of cramps, plus very tired, feeling sick especially right after I eat, sometimes I get head aches and everytime my boyfriend hugs me he says I feel warm (higher body temperture) plus just these past few days my boobs have been feeling tender... could this mean I am pregnant or is it maybe just my period coming? And is it too soon to take a test??

i say may child saved my life, i was using drug and did care if i died or not, since first time i found out i was pregnet,i thought to my self if i didnt care about my self atleast for that child i should . so the day came for him to be born and i saw this little soul that needed love and nurtiure that same day i reborned to be the best mother i could be for my child.it will be 6 years of being sober on feb 16.

I have been dating my boyfriend since I was a freshman in high school. We didn't think we would be able to have kids due to fertility problems, so when we found out I was pregnant we were ecstatic. However, recently I discovered that he has been cheating on me with multiple other females. I really need the money he could provide, but I don't want that type of person in my child's life. What should I do? And please, don't judge me, I know this is my fault, but what's done is done and I really just need the advice.

Need help with a babysitting contract?

Hello
I am a full time nanny during the week and a babysitter in the evenings and weekends. I want to make a babysitting contract for parents. Like the other night the mom said she would be home at 4pm and never came home until 7:30 and i never got a call and she "forgot" to leave me a number where she can be reached.
I feel sometimes i get taken advantage of and want to make it clear before they leave what is expected.
What should it consist of??

If anybody know someone been in this situation . Please give my your suggestion/advice especailly parents that have been through this. I don't mind hearing from someone from the legal team either. I hope she don't have to go there. My friend about to have a baby next 2 months. She want to name the baby after the child's father but he want to name the baby after his father. That is the tradition in his culture. I read a brochure at a hospital. It said she has the right to name the baby especially since they are not married or will be time of birth. It has to go to court order to get the baby name change. I gave her the brochure that what it said. the name he want she don't know how to spell it or pronounce it. I told her it make since to me. You going have to said and spell his name over 3,000 in his lifetime. The child father told her because it a boy. The woman has the right to chooose and plus he has to sign paternity papers to include his name on the birth certificate.

My wife gave birth to our beautiful baby girl just over 5 months ago. She had a hard time getting pregnant and had difficulties during the pregnancy. So, I have tried my hardest to be supportive and loving to her and to help her as much as she needs. But, she is basically a different person than she was before she became pregnant. We argue all the time (she yells and I apologize), she has no interest in sex (we've had sex 4 times in just over a year) and at times she seems scared to be alone with the baby. Could she have post partem depression and not know it and could it last this long? When will she be normal again??

My best friend and her ex just broke up about a month ago. She just found out last week that she's two months pregnant with twins. She is physically not supposed to be able to have children. Her doctor is baffled. The ex was fine knowing that she was pregnant until he found out it was twins and ever since has been telling her that he doesn't want her to have them and that he doesn't want anything to do with her or the babies. They have still been friends up to this point.
I just think that she's been given a wonderful opportunity that she never thought she'd have. I don't want her to have an abortion, but that's what she says she's going to do. The really sad thing is that she said if it was just one baby that she'd keep it. Right now one of the babies is weak and prob wouldn't make it anyway.
What should I do or say to her? I love her and will support whatever decision she makes, but I don't think she should terminate her pregnancy.
What do y'all think?? (she's 27, he's 31)

My bf's mom is cooking all of the food for the baby shower and I had wanted to get her a small statue that I know she would love as a thank you gift. So should I buy a gift for everyone who helped with the babyshower? My best friend is buying our cake and soviners (I bought her soviners for her babyshower) and I thought maybe I would just buy her baby a gift instead of her. I'm not sure. What would you do?
Also, my mom,dad and cousin are paying for everything else. Should I also get them a little something.
I feel very strange accepting gifts from everyone but I especially feel weird about the people who contributed the most. Should I give something in return and if so, what should I give?

My husband and I are moving to Lake County, Illinois later this year. Can anyone tell roughly me how much babysitters there charge? His job will allow us to live anywhere in the county, but we are probably going to live in either Waukegan or Grayslake.
